I was there, it was great but its still not on par with winning the championship in terms of achievements imo, MON did take us up though through the playoffs I think MON and Pearson where both great great managers for us and probably our best in terms of building a team and progression, Rodgers is now on that crust as well

Yes. Without MON establishing us as a Premier League club I seriously doubt the new stadium gets built. As much as I loved Filbert Street, I don't think Vichai buys the club if we were still slumming it there. There were a lot backwards steps in between MON leaving and where we are now, but a lot of where we are as a club now can be traced back to the MON era.

But I'm not here to change peoples perception  of how great a manager MoN was.

To win the second tier, you only have to beat second tier teams. Cups include all teams including the top division.

Ranieri winning the PL is comfortably the best achievement of any Leicester City manager. But that does not automatically make him the best manager. Achievements are relative to the players and resources you have at your disposal.

You're probably right but I don't think we would be where we are now without Pearson so his achievements can't be under estimated.

 

But yes we did have some great times under MON.

O Neil for me. As much as I love Ranieri what he achieved with limited resources was incredible. Winning 2 league cups and finishing top 10 was outstanding.

Imo you also have to consider where the manager took us from and to his end. 
For me that has to be mon. From the championship to top half finishes in the premiership and 2 league cup wins. 
Would also have to mention Pearson from league 1 to keeping us in the premiership. Superb.

Maybe Claudio isn’t our all-time best manager but 2015/16 is our best season ever and Claudio’s 2015/16 is better than any of our other managers’ best seasons. 
 

Claudio did everything perfectly that season, it’s still astonishing to think about.

Genuinely can't understand why people are saying the League Cup wins are a better achievement than the FA Cup win.
