Tell you one thing that really bothers me living in the States - when they refer to our teams like this:

 

”Leicester is going really well this year”

use of the word of 'club legend' to describe anyone who has ever player for a club

"Great" shot, "great" tackle, "great" player, "great" side. A much over-used word.

That saying gets banded around too much more like.

I’d love to be able to reply that’s something we do on purpose just for British teams but that’s how we handle most collective nouns.

Drives me nuts when footballers (and now interviewers!) say “obviously” every sentence.
