Thought the display looked really good today, as it always does.

We always do it the best in my opinion. Correct me if I'm wrong this is probably the earliest we've done it with the international break to come.

It was in the Premier League in 2003, a game v Blackburn.

That's correct we were think it was in 2003 in our brief return to the premier league.

I had Blackburn at the back of my mind, but thought we were further down the league at the time.

 

Amazing to think we started it and led to everyone else joining in.

The helicopter landing was always a spectacular sight, curtailed for obvious reasons.

Maybe we will see a return again of helicopter landing delivering the match ball again in the near future but probably not while since events of the crash are still fresh. Perhaps four years down the line maybe.

I'd leave it.

 

All up for a guy from the armed forces parachuting in with a match ball.

I do like how we involve the away fans to, as I've seen a few do it where they haven't involved them and it looks wrong.

I remember they did it the great escape season when we played Sunderland, but not sure if they we have past that?

I was impressed as to how well the away fans observed the minutes silence. Full credit to not only them but everyone in the ground for being so respectful.

With the exception of the odd drunk attention seeker trying to be funny, the only time there's ever any "disrespect" shown at the remembrance fixture is when there's crap communication and people aren't sure what's happening. 

 

People don't know when the silence is supposed to start / end, they tend to mix it up every other year.
