Vardy away to West Brom? Won goal of the season.

Memory a bit hazy but sure it was a volley?

Vardy's goal against West Brom would be considered one of the best Premier League goals of all time had it been scored by a Man United or Liverpool player.

Van Persie did the same and got lauded for it for several seasons. So yep, you're right!

Wouldn't even say that Van Persie did the same. He did it on his strong foot while being able to watch the ball all the time.

Vardy had the ball dropping over his head onto his left foot. The technique required and the difficulty between the two are night and day.

Iheanacho v Burnley doesn’t get spoken about enough.

Vardy’s v West Brom.

Nalis v Leeds

Izzet v Spurs

Izzet v Blackburn

Izzet v Grimsby (technically a volley)

Dublin v Rotherham

The greatest City goal ever scored IMO. (yeah, don't bother saying blah blah in the 60s was better, I'm not old enough)

Nalis vs Leeds is the goal I always think of when I think of Premier League City goals. He's running away from the goal FFS and he manages to loop it over into the opposite corner from the direction he's heading, in terms of technique it doesn't quite get the credit it deserves. It's so filthy I have to go and wash my face every time I watch it.

Vardy's goal vs West Brom will come to be regarded in the same way with time. Sublime stuff.

Might be wrong but seem to remember Drinkwater against Watford in the championship. I’m sure it was in injury time.

Half volley!

SHIT!

Did you see that??

He must have a foot like a traction engine!

Especially given how hard the footballs were back then.

It would've snapped my foot clean off.

I bet it was a right stinger, regardless.

Not bad for £15k from Darlington.

Very limited player but hard as nails snapped his cruciate in one game and played the rest of the game think it was a cartilage problem only found out what it was when he went for his op, and they opened him up.

Brings back so memories that vid.
