What an epic way to finish my stay in Lester with a 4-2 win at home in the snow serenading to Claudio. Atmosphere was just as good as it was against the Polish, sang my heart out and clapped the clappers until they clapped no more. Love the KP! Wish I could stay longer and see more games but back to the USA I go. Great to meet so many other fans and share some banter. COYF! :scarf::worship:

Some Watford fans were singing, all good natured, taking the piss out of themselves and Watford, then all of sudden they starting singing "Leicester's a shithole, I wanna go home", some people took offence and alot of shouting followed not sure if anything came of it.

Had a peep at the Watford forum and they’re gutted to lose to a very (poor Leicester side)

 

I thought we was ok, end to end game, we probably over played the long ball at times and defence still very suspect, but other that we played some good stuff in difficult circumstances

Knocking it long wasn't a bad tactic at all given the conditions. Watford were one of the architects of the long ball way back when lol

I agree 2nd half, It was the first 30 that got me pissed off a bit, we had better options.

Think considering the weather it was a good game and did well to win. Could have easily caved in when they hit back to 3-2 but managed to get another to pretty much kill the game. Madders looks like has a bit of confidence again which is good to see and vardy causing problems all game. Hopefully we can get a clean sheet soon to give the defence a bit of confidence which hopefully do then good

I listened to Brendan’s post match interview on the BBC. It would appear the fans reactions to the performance against Chelsea is due to COVID and oh that (and I paraphrase) they, Chelsea are currently the best team in the Universe.  I think his main point though is we (the fans) have all gone a bit loopy because of COVID :colder:.

I like his point that passes only become assists if strikers do their bit and finish.  Obvious but true and often overlooked.

 

But not sure I agree with him that that the finish was better than the pass for Vardy's first - both were superb.

I said the game was 'great fun' (that's positive) but that we were mostly poor (which is the general consensus on here reading the thread). How does that imply that I'm negative and struggle with a low IQ? Seriously Ian, help me out here brother! Xx
