Funny how we all see the game differently.  I thought Cags played really well today.

Yep, played well today. Clearly his past performances overshadowing today's good display it seems.

Barnes is not short of talent, but may be short of football intelligence.  His decision making isn't great - he runs down a lot of blind alleys, but I suppose that's an occupational hazard for a creative player and he did at least have the sense to square the ball for the 4th today rather than try to score himself.

Really ?
he shot and the keeper saved it into lookman’s  path !

Did anyone figure out why Vardy's celebration was all about? Was it aimed at Ranieri? BR? Stowell? Or just celebrating with his family (V9 Media box)?

My bad I’ve since seen the highlights in better quality than a grainy stream. Bad they didn’t have an orange version of the ‘winter ball’

Even the commentators were complaining and they were watching it live from the stadium. I suspect that the ball is part of some sponsorship deal. Money must come first it seems.

I was really confused by it!

Same sponsors on a different coloured ball is not rocket science. I hate the corporate world sometimes

It was to do with Stowell

I thought I was watching 100m relay practice instead of a football match. Where is the ball!?

Still not a patch on Ipswich away in (December) 2010 with the reverse result of course!

A Watford fan told on thursday  me they were good at getting other teams season back on track

Sorry to be Mr negative but we still look kinda patchy in our play

We are really lacking someone putting there foot on the ball in the midfield, with the transfer window coming up , we really need a ball playing central midfielder . Even before the snow came we could not hold the ball or pass it to a team mate , for two years now we have just had YOURI but we need another class midfielder because our passing and ball control is disgusting

Unfortunately, we let one go who I thought fitted that description….Praet

The few games I saw Dennis play without youri didn’t convince me that he could control a game from the centre of midfield- certainly at PL intensity

Vards is 100% catching Michael Owen's scoring record and squeezing into the all-time Prem era top 10 before he hangs up his boots. 24 to go...

Not bad for a striker who first played in the Prem at 27 and 'isnt a natural finisher'.

If he wants to really challenge himself, Robbie Fowler got 163. He's probably going to see less gametime from next season with Daka's star rising, but I see no reason he couldn't top 20 this year and target 20 over what I'm guessing would be his final two seasons.

The effort was there against the likes of Brentford and Leeds in particular. It was certainly there v Arsenal in the second half as well. Just hasn’t been consistent enough.

Personally I don’t think we run hard enough out of possession as a whole. Five or six players a game aren’t covering or working back. It happened today for long spells in the first half.

I think we'#re meetinmg somewhere in the middle here on our points, the truth is the team hasn't worked hard enougth in general in compairson to the model rodgers has had for the last two years

Leicester have been able to challenge the hoarders of talent big 6 by maintaining huge energy in performences, that cannot drop off otherwise you soon flip down the table.

Still frail at the back although the conditions played a part in that. The second half was a blur,  sat in the south stand covered in snow but who cares. Vardy proved how good he still is, Maddison back to his best and King Claudio given the reception he deserved. A great day.

...perhaps his role is to block their keeper!!!

His problem will be an attempt at goal from a teammate and the opposition player, who is behind him, pushing out.

Says absolutely everything that we’ve been nowhere near ourselves this season, and sit only 5 points off 4th now.

Thought yesterday was good. We were excellent going forwards at times, woeful defensively at others - better teams than Watford will punish us more.

I’ve been calling for Luke to get a loan to the championship, if he’s going to continue playing as he has the last 2 games I couldn’t have been more wrong, he’s been brilliant.

Barnes had an average game and must do more defensively. 3 times he let a cross come in which could easily have resulted in at least 1 goal.

Maddison looking back to his best, and Vardy being Vardy.

Need to back this up on Wednesday now!

You mean like the photo and the two instances at Brighton ?

his role is of course to block their keeper but he must get out before first contact whilst the ball is in the air, not hang around the keeper
