Coops did say he was predominantly after domestic based players - but does that mean Vik is on his way out if true?

He can clear off if Reid and Targett are his aspirations to manage, absolute nothing players. We didn't stoop this low in the Championship so why now?

If we want a new left wing back and Cooper wants it to be domestic I want us to go for Alfie Doughty from Luton

Would be a great signing.

Wouldn’t be surprised at Mostafa Mohamed of Nantes.

Below is from back in March

https://sheffunitedway.co.uk/2024/03/06/could-sheffield-united-revisit-deal-for-striker-they-once-scouted/

According to transfer insider Ben Jacobs, via caughtoffside, a number of Premier League clubs are keeping close tabs on Diallo. Brentford, Burnley and Fulham have been credited with interest.

The latter, Fulham, could see the Senegal forward as a cheaper option to Chelsea’s Armando Broja.

It is understood that Al Shabab are prepared to take a loss on Diallo, while the top-flight clubs in question all value the goalscorer at around £10 million. The report also states that the player is willing to take a pay-cut.

Habib Diallo scored 20 goals for Strasbourg the season before he went to the Saudi League. Admittedly his record in the Saudi league is pretty poor, which is a worry. However, players from that league have shown they can still cut it at the Euros; Kante has been one of the players of the tournament and Laporte good for Spain. If anything, the players from that league seem well rested and relatively injury free!

@moore_94 just said they value him at £10M, imo that's not a bad deal though obviously a risk. The Saudi club signed him for 20 Million Euros.

I will admit that I am biased because I signed him myself in a recent Football Manager save for Leicester and he was pretty good! lol

Nketiah would be an interesting signing. Feel he needs to step down from an Arsenal to really kick on

On loan, it would be a decent option

Just think he would be looking for someone higher up then us, in the PL or abroad.

What has Nketiah done? He's dogshit.

The only team he has ever performed in is the England u-21s. And he's 25 now.  His best season is 5 goals. And that's playing for Arsenal. Some might point to not having a long run in the side, but Arsenal have been crying out for a striker for years and he's had the opportunity and fxxked it.  His loan to Leeds in the Championship was crap too.

All true but might be worth a gamble on loan as he has looked good in patches. If he's crap, we can then offload him back to Arsenal easily.
