I get that. It's just, history tells us, everyone is expecting a massive re-build, but we won't. We'll struggle to off load some, some will want to go, but we won't let them, some will come in on free transfers. It won't be the massive number of new players in some people seem to expect

Yeah, there's a lot out of contract. They'll all go, obviously. The likes of Winks won't play in League 1, and Fatawu. And non of the loan players we've had will return, so yeah, a lot out, even if we can't sell any. Just don't think we'll get TOO many in. Maybe only 4 or 5

I guess the difference this time is Top can actually spend money to get players in where as we’ve been hamstrung by ffp the last few years… if nothing else we’ll see how committed he is to the re build/ if he’s still got a pot to piss in this summer

Some fans spoke to him outside the stadium after we got relegated, didn't they? From what I can vaguely recall he was a bit non-committal about putting money into the club himself...but I could be wrong. I wouldn't hold out much hope on that front anyway. Think it's all going to need to be funded by sales...if that even keeps our heads above water.

Oh no I agree, the conversation I think I am recalling was fans asking if he was willing to invest in the club, and he didn't say he would. I don't expect him to throw money at this, and I honestly think that would be a mistake anyway. If he did invest money, I'd rather it be on sorting the existing shit out first before moving on to new signings. Invest in a good manager with potential, and the right staff to turn the club around.
