I used to know a fella, was in the Royal Navy. He somehow ‘acquired’ a ginormous Union Jack from very well known ship in the 90’s. He had it customised, similar to yours from memory.

I've always hated Forest way more than the other two. Derby have always felt like an easy 3 points to me and Cov have barely ever been relevant in my lifetime

Later this week I would think. Third round fixture changes were announced on the Thursday following the draw I think. Would imagine this will be Sunday 12.30 or 2pm though.

Don’t know much about how it works but is Friday definitely a no go because the police won’t have it or is there still a chance?

Not sure if because it’s been so long since we played they’re wanting to minimise any possible trouble, that’s what I’ve seen suggested at least. ITV/BBC obviously have some say but I imagine not the final one.

I think from a police perspective it definitely increases risk. Thousands of Leicester fans arriving at Nottingham station, many of whom will have taken the day off so will have been drinking vast quantities. It also makes it hard to identify people too. 
 

I reckon that this is the stance that the police will take and subsequently move it to Sunday.

I would actually prefer the Sunday. Makes it much easier for trains (personally speaking).

Fair enough mate. I am planning to head back from uni for this and my home address is in Nottingham so not too bothered. Trains are pretty regular from Nottingham to Leicester though so doubt it’ll be an issue regardless.

If it is the early Sunday kick off it would be dire for trains from Leicester.

Misread this comment. Just looked out of interest and you can jump on one at 10:44, not ideal but coming back is fine.

 

You would hope that common sense will prevail and they’ll stick it on the later slot if they put it on a Sunday, but TV broadcasters are not renowned for caring.

As I am in Hinckley it makes life a little more tricky with the trains. Friday night there is no late train back. Sunday morning I would probably have to get a bus/lift to Leicester as first train gets into Notts after lunch.

If it's 12:00 or 12:30 KO then it is tight, otherwise should be OK. First train is 10:52 (depart) I think.

Yeah, think I’ve underestimated transport between Leicester - Notts. Friday night can be nightmare on that route tbf, sometimes it has been a rush to get that last train.
