SecretPro Posted 28 July 2022 Posted 28 July 2022 £75m? Err, why the fook are we not asking for 100+?

Pliskin Posted 28 July 2022 Posted 28 July 2022 £75m would be far too low. I’d be disgusted if we agreed a fee at anything less that £100m 2

We saw what the majority of the season without him last year did.. He is a key player, if not THE key player to a decent campaign this season IMO. Edited 28 July 2022 by SecretPro 2

Fofana leaves, and then suddenly Lurch is starting 20 games. 1 1

Diffco Posted 28 July 2022 Posted 28 July 2022 Chelsea can piss off, horrid club and selling Fofana would absolutely reset our defence to being shit
coolhandfox Posted 28 July 2022 Posted 28 July 2022 Still think we will have one more year vefore we cash in.
Elvis hammond Posted 28 July 2022 Posted 28 July 2022 This lad has the potential to be the best defender in the world in my opinion and we got 80m for maguire 1
Phenom Posted 28 July 2022 Posted 28 July 2022 He’s gonna go either this window or next. 75 + Colwill wouldn’t be a terrible return
Elvis hammond Posted 28 July 2022 Posted 28 July 2022 We cant afford to lose any players this window else we are gonna be in a mess
fox_up_north Posted 28 July 2022 Posted 28 July 2022 I think he goes next year. He still needs to get back up to snuff after his injury and this year will do it. Ideally we'd get top 7 and be in a position to get the £75+ million as we can say we've got Europe. Don't think we'll see Maguire type numbers again. Tide seems to be turning on huge transfers. It would need Barcelona to implode for the market to collapse, though.

ALC Fox Posted 28 July 2022 Posted 28 July 2022 No, no, no. Little Wes will understandably want to test himself but we should be rejecting any bid below £100m knowing we'll easily get £75m or more next season.
kingkisnorbo Posted 28 July 2022 Posted 28 July 2022 You’re barking if you don’t think we’d accept 75 million for him. An insane return after so little time. 1

Old Fox Posted 28 July 2022 Posted 28 July 2022 If they come knocking our owners and board know what they are doing relax as worst case we will get a world record deal or he won’t go! I am sure they will be interested as will all the big boys like Barca and Real so no need to worry just because they are interested - if we sell it will be on our terms as he has a deal until 2027!!
LFox99 Posted 28 July 2022 Posted 28 July 2022 Can yous all stop collectively wetting your pants for crying out loud. He signed a new deal just weeks ago, he's not leaving this summer. 4
Vacamion Posted 28 July 2022 Posted 28 July 2022 Are we Chelsea Feeder Club FC? If Fofana went there we would be edging into the Southampton/Liverpool scenario of a few years back. Not a place we want to be. 2
moore_94 Posted 28 July 2022 Posted 28 July 2022 The source is a guy who is an editor for a couple of chelsea fan accounts... about it 2

They got Kante on the cheap but they took Drinkwater off our hands for more than he was worth and paid a fair price for Chilwell. The only one of those that weakened us was Kante. Hardly a Southampton/Liverpool situation. 1
