Hypothetical question on our Vardy, Schmeichal and Evans.

No. For what they bring OFF the field. Not just their experience but they are 3 of the only players we have with a bit fo steel in their mentality. We should be figuring out how to bottle that and hooking the rest up to IV's.

Vardy and Kasper, absolutely not.

Two of the most important players in our history.

Both deserving of having stands named after them in the future.

They'll both retire here. I don't think Vards will go down the coaching route, but I'd love to see Kasper manage us one day.

Evans...I don't WANT him to go, but if it was the right offer. Who though? No big boys will come in with his injury record.

Vardy highly likely to retire with us and deservedly so. In my lifetime, he's the best player to put on a Leicester shirt. The only alternate scenario I could see was if he wanted to spend a season as a player for his new Rochester team in America. Even then, I imagine he'd go with the club's best wishes than us demanding a fee from HIM lol

Evans can't be far off retirement either given his age and injury niggles. As others have said having him around the dressing room even in a non-playing capacity is still valuable. I can't imagine clubs forking out worthwhile sums of money at this stage of his career.

Kasper would fetch a decent transfer fee. He's still a very good goalkeeper with a few years in him yet. But unless he actually wants to leave, why would we entertain anything? Signed for just over a £1m he's paid us back tenfold already for his years of service and what he's achieved. Not forgetting his influence and current club captaincy. We've got Ward and Iversen in waiting (at the moment) if needed but the big clubs already have good goalkeepers. Would United push for Kasper over De Gea? I'm not so sure

I think if we offered Kasper a new contract on the understanding he will be second choice keeper he might well prefer to leave.  The era of keepers being top class until their 40s I think ends with Buffon.

No, we wouldn’t sell any of them unless they wanted to go.

Also, can we please have a bit of perspective on Kasper? We didn’t have set piece issues when we had proper centre backs, so while it’s an easy narrative to blame him, it’s not true. His kicking is a bit shite, but guess when it’s worst? When all our players are terrified of making passes because we’re playing an 8-1-1 formation. And he kept us in the Tottenham game three times minimum before we capitulated.

He’s an exceptional shot-stopper with a slightly wonky passing foot, proper dedication to the team and club, and his consistency is incredible. You can count his mistakes since 2015 on two hands.

See ya?

The bloke is all but our third all time appearance maker, and made those appearances through what has been without question the best period in our club's history. An FA Cup winner, Premier League winner, and somebody who has shown nothing but passion and class in his time here.

You can have your opinions on current form, and if you think it's time for a replacement that's also fine. But 'see ya'?

I should adore him but I’ve never warmed to him in the way I have with Vardy, Morgan and even Albrighton.

He’s our captain and if he wants out to play Champions League football (despite not being at that level) then by all means he should leave.

It was a flippant comment, of course, it was meant to be.

Still convinced Vardy goes and plays in America next season.

Daka is the future!

Evans is broken and Kasper probably goes and plays for a Danish team after next season.

2 legends, and a CB who through injury prevented being one, But still adored and willed on from the terraces.

They alone, make the call. If they still want to Finish off with their own bucket-list, they have earnt it...

I will Never understand, the cynical posters who keep trying to Force & leave a Bad taste direction Schmeichel.

Next to Vardy...The Mr Leicesters, of our club....With Albrighton in the slipstream...

I don't think he necessarily wants out, just that he'll try to join a Champions League club (probably in Denmark) when his contract expires. He's not pushing to go.

He's here until the end of next season when we'd probably be looking at a succession plan anyway.

Keep Vardy as long as possible, at some point I reckon he'll want to go to that US team he owns. Evans cant be relied upon with his injuries. Schmeichel might want one last challenge elsewhere, if so I think we'd let him go.

Vardy's US team is going to be the only non-reserve team in the MLS's new U23 league, which is designated third tier in the US system. It will be National League quality at best. I think if Vardy ever plays for them, he will be in his 40s.

If he wanted to cash in in the US market, he'd make millions playing the MLS, much more than any value he would add to his team by playing for them against Portland Timbers B.

I never warmed to Andy King the way most did, but I could respect his contribution and achievements with us without being flippant.
