If its true and was last night.

Comes down to JUDGEMENT

It was a judgement call to do it on the night after a massive game for the club & fans that went horribly wrong.

The night that the manager rinsed many of the team in public and questioned their future at the club.

It was judgement call to press the button and put it on social.

Every one was 50/50 option, "they" could have picked the other option, they didn't.

Darts as others said didn't matter, this party could have been next Sunday, the Sunday after, not on the night that all Leicester supporters were pretty much totally embarrassed and saddened and questioned the playing and managing staff's commitment and desire to earn their enormous salaries and play for the support we give.

Feel the vibe coming out and make better JUDGEMENT calls.  Bit like the defending yesterday, wasn't great judgement.

Dear oh dear.

Your SO SO wrong its unreal.

Imagine that happening under Alex Ferguson!

If we had someone of  true Captain these sorts of ongoing things wouldnt happen so often at our club.

But as long as there are people who still condone it, it will continue...

it probably did go on and probably even more than it does now.

You only have to listen to stories from Ray Parlour etc. to know that boozing and parties was a massive part of the culture in the 90's

just wasnt such thing as camera phones and social media then.

Shame as he's a decent lad. Just being used as a mouthpiece by the club.

I don't particularly blame the individuals. Like I say, your options are being a club mouthpiece or nothing.

I’ve read Roy Keane’s book and also listened to that podcast he did with Gary Neville. He talks at length about being out on the booze at Man U, lying to Fergie about having 4/5 bottles when in fact is was 10 odd pints - he even had a full on pissed punch up with Kasper’s old man in a hotel. There was a massive drinking culture at Man U when Ferguson arrived, and he cut it down a lot but never totally got rid of it, because at the end of the day footballers are still blokes, some of which like a beer.

The difference there though is that Man United and Roy Keane specifically were turning out every weekend and getting the job done. If you can go out and do the business on the pitch nobody gives a shit what you get up to, generally speaking, off the pitch or how many parties you’ve been to. The issue here isn’t necessarily a party after a game, it’s a show of disrespect and piss taking to the fans after taking an absolute hammering against a close rival. They’re just blokes like you and me but at the same time a bit of ****ing self awareness would go a long way with this lot. If they HAD to go, at least keep it off of bloody social media, as plenty of others have said.

...Wenger sought to change all that!!!

Food intake and the drinking culture was eradicated as professional players that was no way to treat their bodies.

For a lot of the Arsenal players at the time, they saw the benefit of it for health and as a mode of discipline.

If you choose to turn a blind eye to these situations, then they are not going away.

Let’s be real here, if it’s last night and they’ve had a few drinks after the game, who cares? That’s not why we bleeding lost, that’s not why they were shocking, this was after the game not before. Everyone just loves sitting on their high horse and acting like we are part of the church committee. The lass who’s posted it on social media is the only one who’s done anything wrong. Get out of here with your ‘how could they do this to us’ blah blah it’s a joke. They defo won’t be fined or any repercussions because no players did anything wrong. You might not have liked seeing it, but you weren’t meant to see it. That’s the reality.

It did happen under him but there was no Twitter or Instagram and the players were smarter to not get caught

Exactly. This stuff happens day in day out and far worse. You’d be a fool to think players go straight home and jump on the treadmill listen to sad songs and weep until their cheeks are crusty from salty tears.

Doesn’t even look much of a party more a couple of drinks in the kitchen

Rodgers just lets this stuff go unopposed time after time. Hamza shouldn't play for the club again, he's a ****ing idiot, always involved in this shit.

Rodgers did drop players after the covid party last time, clearly they've learned nothing. And that was a party that we didn't know about until they were dropped.

Only for one game though, then they went straight back into the team.

I wouldn't have Hamza playing for the club again.

And they were winning leagues and cup so no one gave a feck.

We get battered as reigning cup holders  by a championship  club who happen to be our rivals.

I don't care if I can't see it, posting it on social media just shows that they don't care, Ward should be going mad at his missus for it.

People are angry because we spend probably £100 a game and these idiots seem to put in minimal effort.

Great insight. If you noticed he didn’t play anyway.

Posting it on social media shows that they don’t care...No players posted it so how does this make sense?

Yeah he probably did go mad at her so your point is nonsense.

That's the point, £100 to the players is nothing, but after the hassle of getting tickets, travel, food, etc etc its a kick in the teeth seeing that performance its much more to the fans.

No, I don't expect them to mope around all night crying, however, I do expect some respect and appreciation for the sacrifices we make as fans, week in week out, to follow OUR club.

While they play for OUR club they should at least show some respect understanding how we are all feeling after that display.

Maybe it was posted on social media harmlessly and no malice was intended, but it should never have been made available to everyone and anyone to see.

It will however detract from the abysmal performance witnessed yesterday.

When? Originally, or yesterday?

Would he have played on Thursday against Liverpool? Doubt he will now, so it sort of does matter. Maybe he's pissed off with Rodgers after playing well recently and still being dropped, who knows.

After the first incident ages ago, or one of the many we seem to keep having, you'd think they'd tell their partners to keep this stuff off social media. So either Ward or his missus is an idiot, or they don't care enough about the consequences so post it anyway.

Again, 90% of us don't care that this happened, it's just annoying that it's being thrown in our faces after paying £100 for a day out to witness that performance, at a time when the team is playing crap anyway, the results are poor, the manager is under pressure, the fanbase seems to be turning toxic, the players look like they don't care and it shows no signs of improving. We know the players have social lives, and most of us aren't those weirdos who expect players to never drink or party and sit inside reading in their personal time.

We don't go to football expecting wins, but we do expect the players to try their best and show some professionalism.
