He is just too good to pass up, to end up shelling out £40m on a player which will break the bank (for the wrong position) when we don't have to. With you on this or Levi Colwill from Chelsea & both are out of contract this summer, sod it get the pair. 1
BKLFox Posted 21 April 2022 Posted 21 April 2022 From the video it’s a no from me don’t see anything special in him nothing refined in those tackles he makes in/just outside the box 2

EUROPE ITALY PREMIER LEAGUE LEICESTER CITY Club’s summer transfer ‘intention’ for Leicester player explained – Need to convince Foxes about idea By Tom Coast - 21st April 2022 Unable to convince Brendan Rodgers that he deserved a regular starting spot at Leicester City, Dennis Praet was sent to Torino on loan for the rest of the season. Attached to this deal was a €15m option to buy, with hope that the Serie A side would be impressed enough with the Belgian to pay it, and while there is no denying that he has convinced them, they still aren’t prepared to cough up the money. The reason for that is that the Leicester loanee has spent a large chunk of the season injured, as Corriere Torino point out, leading to ‘budgetary needs and reasons for prudence’ as to why they don’t want to invest in him permanently. As things stand, the Serie A side’s ‘intention to date is to ask the English club to renew the agreement for another season’. http://sportwitness.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2022/04/Screenshot-2022-04-21-at-11.58.21-300x274.jpgOver at Torino, ‘the esteem of the whole environment, from club to coach’ for the Leicester player ‘is not in doubt’, and they do want him to play for them next season. They just don’t want to pay the pre-agreed fee for an injury prone player who might not complete a full season. That being said, they do know he could be of use, and it’ll be up to them to convince Leicester that this is the right thing to do.

Both contracted until 2025, on loan this season. So would need a decent bid to prise them away from Bayern/ Chelsea respectively but I’d be happy with either of those.

(And depending on who you believe either BR wanted him and not Vestergaard. Or BR wanted Vestergaard and not Richards)

Looks big, Strong and assertive.... abit like Chelsea's Rudiger. Read that Spurs want him aswell and their Italian DOF seems getting players from the Italian league Edited 21 April 2022 by CrispinLA in Texas
The_77 Posted 21 April 2022 Posted 21 April 2022 With a first name like Gleison, I don’t even need to keep reading— he’s Brazilian. GERRIMIN.
Aleksz Posted 21 April 2022 Posted 21 April 2022 Pretty sure it’s been pretty nailed on that this bloke is going to Inter for a while.
CrispinLA in Texas Posted 22 April 2022 Posted 22 April 2022 Praet never going to come back to Leicester.... he's burnt to many bridges with Brendan. Praet likes it at Torino and they want him permanently...no other club is interested in him. Conte wants him aswell and he seen him play in Serie A...so probably knows how good he is and his attitude etc. So if Leicester really want him we could minus the fee for Praet and get him about 10 to 12m cheaper than how much they want to for him.... maybe 20m

LestaLad Posted 7 May 2022 Posted 7 May 2022 Like we suggested, they’re trying to include Praet in the deal according to this.. (I know it’s The Sun) 3
Popular Post sammy82 Posted 7 May 2022 Popular Post Posted 7 May 2022 I’ve watched Torino loads this season and he’s a proper bastard defender! No ****ing about aggressive, good at defending set pieces and looks like he loves defending! I’d love him here personally 7

Sankey93 Posted 7 May 2022 Posted 7 May 2022 I’m all for this! Watch fair amount of serie a and everytime I’ve seen him play he looks solid.

I watched the Mainz game today, he gave away a harsh penalty but looks a player and clearly a leader which is what we are lacking. 1
LFox99 Posted 9 May 2022 Posted 9 May 2022 Pray that us having Praet on loan at Torino gives us some sort of power in the negotiations because let's be honest, if Chelsea really want him then he's going there. They're losing Azpilicueta, Rudiger, Christensen this summer and will definitely look into getting a starting CB or two, add that they've got a Brazilian legend playing at CB already and that move will look quite good for Bremer. Its going to be a question of game time and whether Chelsea will buy a few too many CBs.
