martyn Posted 15 February 2023 Posted 15 February 2023 (edited) Arteta spending all week crying about referees, and subsequently gets a bunch of friendly decisions going their way today. Edited 15 February 2023 by martyn
Sampson Posted 15 February 2023 Posted 15 February 2023 Its 100% a pen, glad it was given too as they rarely are when they always should be, it's a clear foul and the keeper gets a clear advantage in fouling, it should always be a stonewall pen. Remember Harvey Barnes getting absolutely poleaxed by the Liverpool keeper a couple of seasons back. 4
Finnegan Posted 15 February 2023 Posted 15 February 2023 Who would have thought that if you left a right winger alone as a left back against Arsenal's best attacking player he might struggle? I'm honestly shocked. 🤔 1

Sly Posted 15 February 2023 Posted 15 February 2023 It’s about time that got given as a penalty. He’s wiped Iheanacho out at least twice. Anywhere else on the pitch and it always gets given. We just need consistency in approach. That aside, I don’t like Arsenal so I’d love for them to implode and lose this. 3
Popular Post Bert Posted 15 February 2023 Popular Post Posted 15 February 2023 It’s a penalty all day long. Remember our years when Ederson did that to Iheanacho and Barnes? 5

Dahnsouff Posted 15 February 2023 Posted 15 February 2023 People posting past events to claim that’s a penalty, that was nothing like Kel. It was super soft and we have seen these not given more than given. He nearly decapitated Kelechi, not even remotely comparable

The keeper taking him out also stops him going for a rebound. It's a blatant foul which the keeper gets a big advantage from. It's a stonewall penalty, surprised people are genuinely arguing against it tbh. 1
tom27111 Posted 15 February 2023 Posted 15 February 2023 If anything, the ref has bottled it. Yeah, he gave the pen, but also a clear yellow card. 1
kingkisnorbo Posted 15 February 2023 Posted 15 February 2023 Enjoying Lord McCoist whilst I can on comms until we have to go back to Tyler and his toe curling puns.

FrankieADZ Posted 15 February 2023 Posted 15 February 2023 its a stonewall pen, but what annoys me is, im pretty sure theres already been the same already this season which havent been given, just want consistency 2
