Popular Post Vacamion Posted 17 April 2023 Popular Post Posted 17 April 2023 If that 1st goal was scored against us, we would be rightly fuming. And callung it a conspiracy. I just can't understand what the lads in the VAR truck aint seeing. 5

Any contact with hand/am (intentional or not) that leads DIRECTLY to a goal is disallowed. Directly means next contact is the goal scorer or pass to goal scorer. In that instance, if salah scores then it’s rued out. Like Perez in the FA Cup final you mean?😎 1

FoxyJim1987 Posted 17 April 2023 Posted 17 April 2023 Absolutely massive if Leeds lose this. A win would have put them out of reach, but a loss, which looks likely, keeps them in touch with us playing them next week. Need Harvey back for that one, he loves scoring against Leeds. 1

The local boozer is full of 'em, all wearing the latest shirt (at least 5 years out of date).....and think Anfield is a piece of farmland.

Week in, week out they get the huge benefit of the doubt. 🤮 1

If Trent doesn't handle it, the goal doesn't happen. They can. People are getting mixed up between the two parts of the handball offence. This incident is the top part of the offence below, and not the bit relating to scoring in the opponents goal. It is an offence if a player: deliberately touches the ball with their hand/arm, for example moving the hand/arm towards the ball touches the ball with their hand/arm when it has made their body unnaturally bigger. A player is considered to have made their body unnaturally bigger when the position of their hand/arm is not a consequence of, or justifiable by, the player’s body movement for that specific situation. By having their hand/arm in such a position, the player takes a risk of their hand/arm being hit by the ball and being penalised scores in the opponents' goal: directly from their hand/arm, even if accidental, including by the goalkeeper immediately after the ball has touched their hand/arm, even if accidental

If we conceded that we'd be fuming. 4

We really need Leeds to lose to stay in contention with them, 5pts ahead of us with 7 to play makes it really difficult for us to catch them. It's important for us to have the relegation as any 3 from 5 as 3 from 4 makes us vulnerable to a rival hitting some form and winning two games on the trot. We have to win one of our next two games against Wolves or Leeds.
