I'm not sure if this is just hyperbole and reactive. But I feel like today is the day we will remember as the day Leicester fall into the abyss. We won't attract the quality we need and it's getting harder and harder to get into the top 6. We will now fall into a mid table team for a while before a few relegation battles. I hope I am wrong and this isn't the start of the downwards spiral.

So basically your saying we’re turning into Man Utd 😩

Certainly feels like the end of an era.

But, a decade ago, we'd have killed for a Premier League relegation scrap.

This is the sad thing, we've set our own standards so high, that every time we fail to meet them, or worse fail to even put a bit of effort in, the sucker punch feels so much harder. I imagine it's how spurs fans feel, but they expect it, whereas we have come to expect to atleast turn up until this season :(

It’s a concern yes, but fortunately I don’t think Top will allow that to happen. He’s just had a statue built of his dad at the stadium. He’s in this for the long haul and there is no limit to his ambition. If Rodgers doesn’t get his act together and prove he can match that ambition, he’ll be gone.

European semi final, probably won't get another in our life time and we didn't lay a fvcking glove. Gutting.

Exactly how I feel. Just feel numb after that. I've seen us lose many important cup games but rarely have I seen us go down so meekly. Just no passion, energy, drive, determination or initiative.

We’re not aggressive enough or physical enough. We’re too slow and predictable to play against with not enough movement. We’re looking to much to thread the perfect pass in but teams can defend against that especially if the passing is slow and movement not there. But we also need to be able mix it up a bit at times, try different approaches to unsettle the defence and create some uncertainty and panic, because we’ll drilled teams will sit in and defend comfortably like roma did tonight.

That is a very bad post

Maybe you're right, but reading this forum I'm glad I made the decision I did, sad to miss a semi final, but much less disappointed now.

Have to be honest, tonight I had a clear choice between watching us in a semi final of a European competition, or watching Netflix on the sofa, the new season of Ozark is quite good.... I'm not sure how we played, the stats look like we dominated but did nothing with the ball, for some reason I just knew it would be a waste of time watching us, and the sad fact is, I made the right decision... I really have lost the majority of my passion this season, it's only temporary and I'll be as excited as ever for the next season, but I just don't want to watch us anymore this season, and I absolutely hate it. This team has sucked the life out of me this season and we are mid table in the premier league as Leicester City... Crazy.

Honestly nobody cares

Didn't watch the game so a simple question, as that was one of our better starting 11s, who wouldn't start next season?

Barnes, Youri, possibly Evans (due to injury, age etc) possibly Vards (maybe alternatlve games for him) and Ricky P unless he finds his pre injury form

Barnes and Lookman, without doubt.

But every single one of them could be upgraded.

This sums up our season.

We simply aren't good enough. We don't have any attacking intent anymore.

Going into tonight, it's the mentality of "go a goal behind, we will turn up". Otherwise, penalties...

The disappointment of coming to Italy (second time this season) and seeing another disappointing performance is so frustrating.

We have nothing to play for.

Rodgers said on Friday (again) that we need to work on defending set pieces.

Big summer window for rodgers, he will be judged next season on who he recruits. With no European football (less games), is top four too much to ask for?

The reality is that it isnt the end of the world and we won’t be falling into the abyss. However It shows that Rodgers can no longer get a performance and tune out of this team or squad and he should not be trusted with the ‘rebuild’. Its been a really good 3 years but its over, time to try something new.

Roma are nothing better than a bottom half Premier League team, but we showed yet again that the best tactic is to let us have the ball and we'll do absolutely nothing with it.

Boring Brendan.

Are you on drugs?

We are a million miles away from the top 4.

2 teams are light years ahead of anyone else, that leaves 2 spots. One of which definitely won't be ours.

Nobody can seem to offer any sort of answer to the question of how on earth are we STILL conceding directly from corners?
This time… two in a week. First to a completely unmarked Harry Kane (who in their right mind doesn’t mark Kane at corners?) and tonight shoving little Ricardo up against Tammy

Rodgers needs sacking for this alone! It’s ridiculous that we haven’t learnt what to do at corners! We’re also rubbish offensively by the way when we win a corner.

I think I’d accept more that Rodgers was one of the best paid managers on the planet if it was clear he was earning it, by learning where we must improve (like defending corners) and showing progression because of it.
But he doesn’t… he just seems to plod on, picking up his obscene pay check, undeterred by anything very much.

I think it’s called supporting the team 🤔

I was annoyed I had to watch such an abject performance on TV. Imagine paying hundreds or thousands of pounds to go and watch that.

Sometimes, they really don't deserve our support.

The only positive I can think of, is that we'll should get more Saturday 3pm KO's next season.

btw - when BT Sport showed Pereira standing by Abraham 10 seconds before the corner was taken, I thought to myself "he's not actually marking him, is he?   Please tell me, he's not.   Oh shit"

Understand your point, but is it rodgers or more of the defensive coach..?
