They were hard to break down, we had all the possession, after going a goal down, what else could we do. Apart from kamikaze and Losing by 4. Plus the comical decisions against us. One of those nights I’m afraid.

Sorry but that’s not good enough. We KNEW if they scored first they would be hard to break down. It’s a Mourinho side

A good tactician will have worked out HOW to break them down.
‘Rodgers is a hugely paid, multi-millionaire. Just to accept it so easily is cheap I’m afraid. I think I read we all 2 shots on target all game?

Simply, not good enough Brendan

All you could have asked for was for them to really give it a go, but you can't really say we did that.

A really weak performance lacking in any sort of aggression or urgency.

I've always been Rodgers in, but the last month or so has left me thinking maybe we've reached the end of the road with him.

I just don't look forward to going to or watching the games any more, it's just a chore.

....we struggle in these situations where we need to break teams down!!!

Not having a RW who can beat a man, or do something different in order to create a situation to score. Perez (first leg) just having a little trick to foil the defender and pick a pass out is a clear example of the need not to be so obvious in our play. Constantly getting to the by-line and squaring passes in is not going to work, it is far too easy to defend against.

There are far too many aspects of our play which is poor and should have been addressed even with a large injury list. Too many things that are not seen by the coaching staff and they are basic everyday problems.

Crap performance, crap season generally. But there’s no way that Top will sack Brendan after two previous top 5 finishes and a European semi final, plus the huge amount of compensation that would have to be paid. He’s here for the rebuild and into next season, like it or not.

Yes, I think Brendan gets another season. Or half of one at least.

I don’t even know what to blame anymore. Is it the managers tactics? Is it a lack of quality?

Either way 70-odd percent possession and 2 shots on target isn’t acceptable.

Something needs to give.

The way Rodger’s talks it’s a lack of quality which he’s talked about putting right in the summer so let’s see how that plays out…

We  played Close to our considered best team, so selection I wont Blame on Rodgers, & Maybe too early for injury returnees...

We havent more than 2 players in a game that have given just an average game...

Tonight was the players chance, to throw their wears forward, prove they are the best from the squad...

When called on, they Couldnt even Pull out a decent performance...

If wasnt the refs fault, we played poor in this special, season-making game...It wasnt & isn t Rodgers fault, they the players havent for this Part of the  season,

brought as a team their 'A' game to the field..it is though , his failings & his responsibility to get this team his Team to Perform to a minimum...

Losses hurt, & accepted, but not so much has the continual, repetative turgid, dauer tepid performances...

mistakes are  part of the game, but Tonight they couldnt even put a Shift in, on their 1st special European  night together....

....This was once the fearless foxes...I

Barnes still might come Good Next season, but like a few others, if they are determiniert to Keep their high regardarded reputations, they first have to Show their fans, they can earn & deliver those reputations again..In These last 2 seasons, we have had no Single or 2 or 3 players that have carried their Team over those longer periods of wonky form....Aka..Vardy,Albrighton,Schmeichel,Morgan...Maddison has tried, KDH Maybe of late, But still not enough..

We have laid so much Hope on Tielemans Talent , & who & what he could bring along in his slip-stream..

Tonight we wanted, we needed this group to show what they could smack on the table as a group, they are not fleglings  any more.

Again not necessary about the result, but what they brought as a group Performance wise...

So,So disappointed..

I saw us beat Chelsea in the FA Cup final at Wembley at the back end of last season, I think that's probably part of it. But mainly I don't think we should just judge him on this season and the back end of last season. Over the four years he's been here he's got us to I think 3 semi-finals(?), won the 4th domestic cup in our history and has the best record at this level of any Leicester manager I think. If we're looking at disappointing performances in the cups next year and a bottom half finish I'll start to worry about regression but I think we shouldn't be enetertaining the idea yet considering he's bounced back from negative spells like this with us before, and has an overall very good record as Leicester manager.

I admire your honesty and respect your opinion, personally I think I've seen enough and wouldn't be upset if he left, but equally if he stays, then something has to change, we can't go on like this, possession possession possession, No Goals, Set piece record appauling, we aren't winning or being creative.

He said similar last summer in regards to bringing players in with a 'winning mentality'.

Atmosphere was great

Second half we were better

Corners our Achilles heel

We lacked physicality

We dominated the game

We had opportunities

Players responded well second half

Its been a great journey

A lot of young players finding their level

Just missed out

Have to finish season strong

Seriously, that's what he said

Ctrl V after the Everton game

Tammy Abraham was immense tonight. If you’re going to insist on playing a sole striker you need someone who is effective in that role. He was the difference.

You should read some of the threads from last summer. He was dismissed as crap. He would never have signed for us though. Nearly everybody thought Daka was a far better buy.

I was just thinking about that. Remember it well.

I'm not sure if this is just hyperbole and reactive. But I feel like today is the day we will remember as the day Leicester fall into the abyss. We won't attract the quality we need and it's getting harder and harder to get into the top 6. We will now fall into a mid table team for a while before a few relegation battles. I hope I am wrong and this isn't the start of the downwards spiral.

Have to be honest, tonight I had a clear choice between watching us in a semi final of a European competition, or watching Netflix on the sofa, the new season of Ozark is quite good.... I'm not sure how we played, the stats look like we dominated but did nothing with the ball, for some reason I just knew it would be a waste of time watching us, and the sad fact is, I made the right decision... I really have lost the majority of my passion this season, it's only temporary and I'll be as excited as ever for the next season, but I just don't want to watch us anymore this season, and I absolutely hate it. This team has sucked the life out of me this season and we are mid table in the premier league as Leicester City... Crazy.

Certainly feels like the end of an era.

But, a decade ago, we'd have killed for a Premier League relegation scrap.
