Just before I dropped off I would check my phone again and have one final chuckle as I notice Leicester have payed me again this month as I count the zeros on my online banking app.

I'd forgotten all about Ward until I saw him play against Man Utd, having seen his performance, I've now remembered why I had forgotten all about him.

where does this idea come from? That earning money negates your  ability to experience negative emotions?

We did the Stadium tour last year, and the bloke taking it joked that Danny Ward made the tea/coffee for the refs / assistant refs. Im sure it a joke well used during the tour.

 

When signing autographs, one kid (i reckon about 10) said to him he was his 'favourite 3rd choice goalkeeper'. Ward put on a brave face, and his wife heard behind him.

 

We joke, but people want to achieve and want to be respected. I am sure Ward isn't satisfied with his career right now, even though the money is obvs great.

Get rid of one clown show at the back and suddenly we now have this one on the pitch

 

Just watch him for the 3rd goal, wtf is he doing, pathetic attempt at getting back across

Covering his near post as he should be, those 2 goals were as much my fault as they were Wards and I don’t rate him either

Watch his attempt to follow the ball back across the goal and then any form of dive to try and get even close to the header

Never nice to be personal but it's clear the side collapse when he's out there. His positioning and movement are the worst I've ever seen in a keeper. At ANY level. If you told me he spends all week training sliding in mud on the goal line, I'd believe it.

I know it’s not her natural position but I’d pick Doris the tea lady over ward any day of the week.
