Ward is dog muck but make no mistake the anger should be pointed at the people in the club who identified him as a goalkeeper to spend £12m on and then to reward him with not one but two lucrative contracts. We have been managed into a position where mediocrity has been rewarded with loyalty and big fat wage packets. 

 

The club is a disgrace wasting money on players like Ward, who are so far out their depth it’s ridiculous.

Just watched the goal back on sky highlights and there’s definitely no call from Ward for the second goal that I can hear. Absolute shocker of a goal that is, really out of the top drawer.

Danny Ward dreams of mediocrity.  Danny Ward would need to climb mountains to get to mediocrity.

I'm not trying to defend Justin. He's needed to be dropped all season.

 

But that second goal is mind bogglingly bad from Ward. Not content with fumbling powerful shots off of *checks notes*, the chest of opposition players, he's completely created the chance in the first place. 

 

It's one thing to shout and not get there, but he's not even close to being there. Worse, he ends up completely wrong-footed as though surprised that the ball ended up where it did.

 

How can you be shocked about the ball ending in the box when you've just shouted for it?

 

He lacks ability. He lacks concentration. He lacks confidence. What does he offer? How can be possibly be selected ahead of any other professional goalkeeper?

Did he actually shout for it? 

 

I've not seen a replay, but the way JJ warps to avoid contact suggested he'd gotten a shout to leave it

I didn't travel this time for the game mainly because of Christmas preparations and such but you're telling me I'm not allowed to express my disappointment during the game after travelling from North Yorkshire, knowing 2h before Ward is starting and having my blood going right away to my brain?

By all accounts Danny Ward is a great bloke, so on that front he has my total respect. Mads is elite as we're in a elite competition.  There is no excuse in having league one or two standard backup though. Just make the sensible call and don't play him in a Leicester shirt again. If he stays and gets his money, fair enough. But don't ever play him again

Said to my son the only way Justin leaves that is a shout from Ward. But no reaction from Justin made me think maybe he didn’t shout.

Decent? What's that mean? Nice guy? Friendly? I'd be a nice guy if I was paid his wage to turn out his level or performances too!

It be difficult to distinguish but it’s not personal he may be a great bloke etc he’s just a lousy goalkeeper - I dream of Mark Grew and Romario or whoever was talking twonk about him being better than - some people really have no idea what they’re watching

decent bloke? Don't make me laugh Ward was seen partying after we lost 4-1 to the red scum whilst defending our FA Cup at a time they were a division below us?

Absolutely this. And a point I made when someone said to me today “these goals aren’t Rudkin’s fault.” 
 

I’d love to have seen how Liverpool Execs responded when they got our bid for him. Laughing all the way to the bank.

It’s players like him that should be nowhere near the squad - pure incompetence - shouldn’t boo him! He almost single handed my got his relegated. Some of our fans are total snowflakes. We have every right to let him and the club know how we feel about the total mismanage of our club. Some of theses people are a bloody shambles
