Ainsworth to QPR is an interesting one. He's a bit old fashioned in style so be interesting to see if that can still be successful in the championship.

I see him as one of those managers who just seems suited to a club, so it'll be interesting to see how he gets on. I suppose he played for QPR as well so it's not a new start all together (despite it being years ago). Probably at the same point as Paul Warne really, needed to move on at some point to test themselves at bigger clubs.

Good luck to him .

Unreal goal from Nunez.

For Leicester fans, think Nalis vs Leeds 2004, but right foot.

Was thinking I was having an episode. Couldn't understand how you could compare Lilian Nalis' goal to Darwin Nunez.

Only just realised what thread I'm in.

Disappointing for Wycombe. I wanted them to come up again.

Like with us he probably needs one more transfer window but clubs always seem to circle Bristol City's players whilst they could never get to ours with our ownership.

Agreed.

Hes done his job, time for him to move on now so someone else can win promotion with them and Pearson can have the credit rather than the current manager.

All Millwall aren’t we.

The Premier League could do with more take the knee booing pitch invading racist hooligan fanbased shithole stadium based non entities, so on that basis yeah, why not. You can get your "clobber" on for that one when we play them.

Big Nige unbeaten in 11 in all comps. The Championship is crazy, so many still in with an outside bet of the playoffs.

Lost an important young defender for the rest of the season, though.

Was a fan whilst at Leicester for the magnificent job, but the way people bum him off now is funny. Its a parody. You know the sort.....weirdos with dogs in their profile pics, that sort.

His stock is now that low that people consider almost certainly getting relegated with Watford before they spared him a relegation on his CV and his job at Bristol City where theyre always about 16th but hes sold a few players as being fantastic jobs.

When the bar for success is set that low, theres a ton of managers doing great jobs.

Id even go as far as saying the people who bring him up constantly just like the fact he is an awkward rude man.

Weren't they bottom when he came in and outside the relegation zone when he left, so that's a weird take on it.

Theyd just been absolutely smacked by West Ham with him in charge, and smacked the week before by Chelsea, and had Man City and Arsenal to play who would have smacked them because he fell out with some of the players at half time in that West Ham game.

So not a weird take at all.

Yes there was definitely some sort of incident after that vital West Ham defeat.

Then we had Man City ( I mean the world greatest managers probably would have not stopped us losing that one ) and Arsenal where we were 2-0 down after about 20 minutes although did rally a bit to lose 3-2.

The real killer was Aston Villa wining 2 of their last 3 games .

And Bournemouth also won a couple.

Until COVID struck we looked pretty good and he was doing well .

It is a little because you're downplaying what he did there

He got a bit of bounce which basically everyone gets, and then fell out with the players who he needed to win the last few games to keep them up.

They were going down.

You could argue that they were a bit of a hopeless cause when he took them over, but thats what happened. He had lost the dressing room.

Hes done nothing with Bristol other than sell some of their good players and trust a few youngsters. Theyve never looked any good, they concede a bucketload of goals, he plays people out of position, and eventually like most managers, he will be sacked at some point and probably replaced by someone else who will also achieve nothing.
