Hardly news is it, almost every Leicester fan I've ever met has been massively self deprecating, glass half empty types. But there's nothing wrong with that, part of the culture of being linked with an unfashionable, underdog city.

I don't need some half-arsed poll to tell me that we have a decent (indecent?) proportion of arm-folding 'I'm right and you know it' merchants amongst our online fan-base.

Anyway, good morning, one and all.

I honestly feel that for a very noisy minority the club is merely a vehicle to direct their anger at the world to.

They normally hide in the brendan rodgers thread, start threads without the full facts and then announce they've not been consulted as if they're a member of the clubs board.

Steady. Foxes Talk is not an accurate or realistic representation of our fan base...

the reality is much worse.

I don't think it was so much the 8th place finish that bothered many people to be honest, more the unadventurous dire drivel being served up on the pitch which was largely down to the manager imo. As finish 8th, I'd happily finish 10th for a bit more entertainment!

Can you explain how the team still managed to score as many goals as they did? Apologies if this question seems confrontational, but it seems to be evidence otherwise.

I have a sense I know what the counterpoint to this might be, but I'll listen.

We were 5th highest scorers last season, during Rodgers's 3 full seasons only 4 teams have outscored us, and two of them only just.

Manchester City        284
Liverpool                   247
Chelsea                    203
Tottenham                198
Leicester City Total  197

Last season In all comps, we scored 100 goals, 20/21 we got 95, in 19/20 we scored 83.

BR has more PL games scoring 3 or than all the other LCFC PL managers combined.......

Huh?? Surely the point of a league season, in which we play every team twice is we all play every team twice, therefore we finish where we deserve to at the end of the season?
Wolves played their easier games at an earlier point in the season.

8th was achieved because over 38 games, we were the 8th best team in the league.

The relegated teams have nothing to play for. What do you mean by wolves played their easier games?

No problem and I don't think it's confrontational, we all have our viewpoints and I'm not saying I'm right, it's just how I personally experienced things last year and how I felt.

Yes, we did score goals and some really good one's too. Sometimes however, I believe that was due to individual skilful efforts as opposed to solid teamwork, tactics and good performances on the pitch. Sometimes it was against the run of play imo and we were very fortunate both to win or draw and very fortunate to have those sort individuals in our team compared to those teams that haven't.

Imagine how many we could have scored if the team played as a team to all the players strengths rather than the adoption of deplying certain tactics regardless of whoever was in the team.

For me last year, for the most part, I found the tippy tappy unconvincing performances both frustrating and a snorefest sadly. Just my personal opinion.

Goals are just one part of a game. You can score and have a moment of excitement in the 90th minute but be bored rigid for 89.

Good answer, and thank you for not giving a crass or predictable response. For my part, I think some fans (maybe you, maybe not) have either a very short attention span indeed, or are selective in what they recall, choosing only the evidence that suits their case.

Do we have delusions of grandeur?

Yes - you only have to look at the current transfer window and the pulling power and finances of those ahead of us.

We’re nowhere near.

Seriously Spuds that high up and yet they've won sweet FA for years.......... If anyone thinks they've got the 6th happiest fans in the league then they are woefully wide of the mark and I know enough of them

And they’re still crying about being 3rd in a 2 horse 🐎 race back in 2016, mind you once a donkey team always a Donkey team !

I know this accusation has been thrown at the fans for a good few years, but I don't think we're in any doubt now that those that run the club absolutely have it by the bucket load.

Lived off the back of success and an elevated position which was mainly created by others.

To me it would only be delusions of grandeur if we were a perfectly ran club that  was doing our best and the fans demanded more.

if feels to me like we are in the position we are in because of the terrible decisions made by those running the club. For the most part, that’s what people seem upset about…, not the fact we aren’t in the champions league every season..

I feel its both.

We have the fans who claim our squad is mid EPL level, even worse if we kept Enzo thats where we would be, its as if Burnley never happened.

The club built a state of the art training ground in the middle of nowhere outside the city, as if they felt the club had made it to the big time.  There is no question this is having issues with our squad in my opinion, they in a spa for 5 days a week, which isnt manned by world class coaches.  I will take Albrighton's word for it. Molly coddled players, breast fed, snow flakes, whatever you want to call it.

Then we have the owners who think we have a squad capable of playing like Manchester City in their prime, dont believe me? Top asked Enzo personally to do it.
We giving out contracts as if we think we still a CL club.

Waiting for the big reset with a change of ownership, I am convinced providing we still own our original ground, the first thing a new owner would do is sell or lease out seagrave, its the first logical thing to do, and move our team training back to where it belongs in the city on a training ground fitting for our stature.
