The Serbia international, who helped Eintracht win the Europa League last season, can play as a left winger and left wing-back. The 29-year-old, whose deal runs out next year, has previously been linked with Juventus. Eintracht could demand €20m (£17m) for Kostic, whose contract expires next year. Moyes had a close look at him when Eintracht beat West Ham in the Europa League semi-finals. West Ham are also keeping a close eye on Blackburn’s Ben Brereton Díaz, who can play on the left wing and as a central striker. The Chile international impressed in the Championship last season. Along with trying to sign an attacking player on the left, West Ham are keen to bring in a full-back to compete with Aaron Cresswell. One of their targets, Hoffenheim’s David Raum, is expected to join RB Leipzig. Another name on the list is Thomas, who has impressed since breaking into Leicester’s first team two years ago. The 21-year-old left-back could be available if Leicester, who need to sell before signing anyone, receive a suitable offer.

Leicester_Loyal Posted 22 July 2022 Posted 22 July 2022 Won’t happen. Young homegrown lad, not sure if he’ll ever be a star full back for us, but probably always gonna be good enough for a squad option at minimum, and helps with our European quota when we do qualify. Probably end up with a new contract by Christmas. 1

moore_94 Posted 22 July 2022 Posted 22 July 2022 (edited) Time for a new contract I expect, last signed one in August 2020 No chance should we be selling him. Edited 22 July 2022 by moore_94 3
Popular Post jv1 Posted 22 July 2022 Popular Post Posted 22 July 2022 Anything above 10m and I’d snap your hand off - he is not good enough to compete with the other 3 we have and last season was a disaster for him considering how many defenders we had injured - he had a shocker - bar 1 game home to Liverpool 2 3
Popular Post FoxinNotts Posted 22 July 2022 Popular Post Posted 22 July 2022 I guess it depends on whether or not we can get Bertrand fit 5

Lako42 Posted 22 July 2022 Posted 22 July 2022 I have a feeling we are getting desperate and are willing to flog pretty much anyone. Full back would be place we can let someone go.

Dusty Posted 22 July 2022 Posted 22 July 2022 Think this is just paper talk, can’t see West Ham wanting him at all, there’s better options for probably less money. I like Luke, good squad option for us.

He wouldn’t be capable of playing left back for us He has played 6 games at left back in his career including his youth years, just because he possibly could cover left back doesn’t mean he should be unless in an absolute emergency
CosbehFox Posted 22 July 2022 Posted 22 July 2022 (edited) Can we loan him to them. A year away with Moyes lump it lads is exactly what he needs. He’d be in the same position as what he is though. Back up to Cresswell and Justin is good for an injury currently Edited 22 July 2022 by Cardiff_Fox
