I want him to do well but imagine how low the bar he's set is when "giving away fouls" is seen as a genuine improvement

Yes I know it’s Preston and Derby, but when you look through our squad it does feel like we’re a few signings and luck with injuries off having a good season. Feel like we need to start well to keep the momentum going from last season.

KDH carries this form into the season and we'll justifiably be wanting him in the England squad. Will have to watch out for injuries too obviously.

He’s been decent today though. KDH outshining him but this team minus Tielemans and Ndidi has been brilliant! The attacking play and interchange has been great, especially given it’s preseason and not even our last friendly.

 

The only negative is we haven’t been clinical enough… and yet are 2-0 up and cruising.

His all round game has been peak KDH. He’s everywhere, winning the ball, moving the ball, making key passes. 
 

There’s a reason why even Klopp was gushing over him. 
 

If he continues his form he’ll have a chance at being on the plane to Qatar.
