I genuinely believe i could play in goal and be more composed/comfortable with the ball at my feet than Danny Ward is. I haven't played for 10 years!!!

At this point, it's not even a question to contemplate.  The lads confidence must be shot.. plus all that repetitive stress picking the ball out the back of his net.

Time for a permanent rest!

He's so bad! I told you lot that Kasper was more important to us than you think!

Kasper was so important for so many reasons, on and off the pitch. Now look where we are! Miss him now, don't you!?

No, its more about replacing him with a player that couldn’t get a sniff for four years.

No, that dressing room and defence relied heavily on the character and attributes of Kasper! His loss is far bigger than you think.

That dressing room is completely flat right now. No leaders, no belief, no one there to break this rot!

Kasper was a huge part of our winning mentality, a huge part of our defence and a huge influence on the whole community of the club.

Him leaving has started a rut of others wanting out, and all created by a pretty crap situation with Rodgers last summer.

Sorry to say this but I think we are going down, I'm always , optimistic but I can't see where the next win is coming from ,

The players that hadn’t signed a contract was prior to Kasper leaving.

also the paltry amount of Calendar wins this year was with Kasper also.

It’ll be interesting to see who the new boss picks.  In some ways items a perfect situation for Iverson.  He now won’t be compared to Kasper but Ward.

if he does come in, he’ll also benefit from the general lift in mood s new boss brings.

A new boss might actually organise the defence also

Sorry did we lose 6 on the bounce and have the worse defensive form in the league with Kasper in goal!? Where did we finish last season? Was it bottom!?

Yer enough said. Brendan has clearly lost the dressing room, it's been in down fall for a while. Kasper leaving, opens the door for Madders, Tielemans and others going too. I can see an exodus in January and we will be in real shit then!

Feels like Southampton a few years back.

I'm normally incredibly optimistic, but being someone that has been around some of our key players for a while, this is a huge mess, and only going to get worse before it gets better.

Yeah this run is clearly down to losing Kasper

It’s all down to the GK in all these close matches 5-2 6-2 4-2

Kasper would’ve made a huge difference.

Kasper would’ve stopped players being caught in possession.

Saved the goals from set pieces.

Have you read the Nice reviews?

Don't need to read the reviews of a club where he has played a hand full of games and not settled yet.

Organisation of set pieces was better under Kasper, despite us conceding from them, it was less regularly than now.

Yes I would say that the fact we didn't lose by such big margins with Kasper in goal would suggest that yes the keeper did make a difference. I can count at least 8 goals this season where a better keeper would have covered the angle and prevented a goal.

Kasper would have offered the pass for Ndidi today, so yes, in that instance he would have prevented him from being caught in possession.

The dressing room and spirit play a huge part in a clubs success. So yes, keeping a character such a Kasper, Wes, Fuchs etc could well be making a huge difference right now.

I want a leader I can trust in.   When the going gets tough you see the real person -  I was not impressed.  I may be naïve but I want a manager I can be proud to follow.  I went to a presentation by strorming norman once - he was a guy who literally had to lay their lives on the line with unquestioning loyalty - he explained that they have to know that he was taking decisions with that in mind and was taking t best possible care - yet I see brendan who just acts in the interest of no 1

You may wish to consider joining the Army….or maybe the Boy Scouts?

Always makes me laugh when people post like this. Kind of people who never have an opinion in fear of being wrong.

Has Danny Ward played well these last few games? Yes.

Doe he deserve the number one spot right now? Yes.

But don't fool yourself, when he was getting criticised he was absolutely diabolical and deserved all the critism.

Are you on the Rodgers thread too now that you likely compare him to Guardiola now he's won a few games?

No, I was firmly Rodgers out and I'm still not totally convinced because it took a long while for me to finally think he should go. But as for Ward people are too quick to judge and we've had enough players over the years that have been slagged off and written off after a few games and have then turned it round to put in top performances. I'm also taking no stick for giving out stick because I took enough of it for defending the guy when people were giving it their "worst keeper ever" nonsense.

He was atrocious, let's not forget.

Just because he's improved a lot, doesn't make people's prior opinions of him nonsense.

He wasn't atrocious. He was exposed by a pourous backline and faced more shots in 10 games than Schmeichel faced in an average season. And the point stands, he's nowhere near our worst keeper, just more bollocks hyperbole that you normally only see from our overseas fanbase on Twitter.
