I don't think it helps that Rodgers doesn't particularly rate Daniel Iversen. We'd have been better off keeping Stolarczyk I reckon and flogging Iversen. Hopefully he gets a chance on Saturday though.

like giving Danny Ward a fat new contract? With Iversen's rise the only reason to do that is if you truly thought Ward was a number 1 in waiting

Rodgers quoted in the Mercury today. Definitely reads like Ward WILL be starting on Saturday. Pile money on Spurs winning by a hatful with guaranteed goals from Kane, Son and Richarlison

Covering for Ward massively after bigging him up and now needing to try and cover himself

 

But has absolutely no issue putting the boot into other players when they are poor

Its simple really Ward is not Great at the moment, Iversen needs a chance to show what he is capable of at this level, he is either better or worse, but at least both will have been given an opportunity to show it.

 

This should have been sorted in pre-season of course, however I simply dont trust the irrational, bias approach towards decision making that BR is adopting, hence why we are in the state we are in, for that reason I want him gone, he has pissed away the pre-season preparation, hence why this thread exists, "Ward or Iverson" it should be obvious to the Manager, or perhaps BR is correct and Ward is better, but the simple truth is, for me anyway, I don't trust him to make a good none biased decision, based on form.

Hopefully because Rodgers is soon to leave, but if he somehow is still here and yet we keep getting battered with Ward being a calamity then he will drop him and change the narrative.

Or in Castagne’s case, putting the boot in when he hasn’t been poor and was our one defender who hadn’t looked like a car crash this season.

Bit of a Damning article saying ward is Not Good Enough as a No1 keeper in the EPL so is Alex Crook right to make this Huge statement about our Wales & Leicester City No1 he definitely hasn’t showered himself in glory during our last few games dropping a bollock on a few occasions ? 
 

is it time to give Iverssen a chance or do we stick with Danny Boy hoping he’ll come good ?
