Ward or Iversen?

I think Brendan has far too much pride, taking a quote from The House of the Dragon, ' his pride has pride' therefore I cant see him dropping Ward because to do so would be admitting he was wrong. That is my opinion and view of things anyway

I've only just bothered watching the goals. My assessment that he his a hideous goalie is probably being generous.

 

Impressive that his distribution is as dreadful as his basic goalkeeping skills.

Iversen may make mistakes but clearly has huge potential. Ward makes loads of mistakes but isn't going to get any better. It's really not a difficult choice. 

 

Ward looks miles off it and actively makes those around him more nervous.

How can a EPL team have Ward as 1st team goal keeper whose been sitting on his arse for 4 years .....he looks so unfit and just doesn't look like he knows himself that he's ready to goal keep to EPL standard...... Brendan seriously hasn't a clue on choosing players....just seems to play any players that's on his side.

I can't believe how he ever made it into football as a goalkeeper! It's a tad worrying that he has been here for so long and that Mike Stowell hadn't noticed!

i hope we give the new big dan a proper chance though. I know it’s completely unnatural but there might still be a few mistakes at first but if we get his confidence up he will be a beast for us.

Well ward is getting his chance now and he really has to get better. Time waits for no man. He knows the team is in trouble defensively and he’s a part of it. If our defenders now start to improve thanks to our new player, better set piece coach, and hopefully an uptick in confidence the last thing we need is a no.1 with low confidence and habit of making mistakes. The spotlight will quickly move onto him which he will not like! Sorry ward but being numero uno comes at a price. Step up quick or your toast!

We have to assume that Stowel had a hand in sellecting him, Which also questions his judgement. Then again maybe he wasn't consulted.

I dislike Rodgers as much of the next man but he didn't sign ward and gave him 13 cup starts in 3 seasons before kasper was sold. 

 

Maybe we should stick to blaming him for the things he's actually responsible for?

im not saying he did, but ward meets the Brendan profile player so well

 

also there is perfectly good alternative to ward
