Or we’ve genuinely watched it to see how he gets on and some of his flaws aka hence why not good enough to get in our squad have been shown up in this half.

 

1) Lack of awareness before he receives the ball so has a first touch into trouble - highlighted by Burnley’s initial high press

 

2) Not offering an out and often strolling behind a Burnley player

 

He clearly isn’t match fit so for his benefit, hope he gets 60/70 mins in his legs and he gets regular football and works on the above and he could just find himself a home at Watford.

I’m not expecting him to drop a shoulder and beat 4 lads and put it top corner from 30 yards out.

 

Merely stating the myth of a PL player drops down a division and automatically becomes their best player.
