Gaffer tape on the wing mirror and the back bumper zipped tied on, like an analogy for Leicester City 2022.😖

Except with no horn when the crash happens either...

Yeah they are lining up around the block to buy us and put money in. Do you actually realise most of these people don’t put a bloody penny in of their own cash and just leverage debt against clubs.

That’s it, people cry for someone else with more money. Look at the utter mess they’ve made of it there.

Attempting to compete at the top end, keep your squad together (and staff), keep spending, keep trying to invest in infrastructure, keep scouting perfectly is a nigh on impossible job to keep balanced. Especially when covid curveball comes into play and loses the club a huge amount of money, then new FFP with just a few months notice.

Im not one to often say I told you so, but I have been doing this week as it’s all been entirely predictable. When we were spending without selling, I said at some point we need to find that cash… here we are.

Of course there are issues, mostly I think perhaps revolve around giving a manager who looked amazing to start with too much power and allowed him to surround himself with all his own people. We seem to be taking control back a bit already, but it’s not instant.

The club don’t need to comment on every little thing.

My apologies I didnt realise these were little things.

I think if we don't make any money signings before the window closes I imagine it will mean the wheels are in motion for a sale.

Its the only logical explanation to everything that's currently happening. The board are desperate to get the club back on an even financial footing which can indicate that there's a sale in the pipeline.

You'll get more money selling a 'profitable/breaking even' club than a loss making one.

the amounts we’re speaking about here on losses isn’t significant on the sale of a PL football club

the monies to be made when PL streaming takes over will be enormous - putting a clubs PL future at risk in order to show a small profit as opposed to a £30m loss would be considered more of an issue

Vichai RIP  said they wanted to make the Club self sufficient which is what they've been doing. Covid put a 60 million black hole in the finances, That's what created the short term problem. What we know of the man I think he sould have pur his own hand in his pocket and sort it out.

...that doesn't read right, are you referring to Khun Vichai or Khun Top in this instance!!!

I am assuming it is not Khun Vichai, as you can see the obvious flaw in that statement.

and they will get a lot less money if we get relegated.

If we are in serious financial trouble then there's no quick and easy way out of it. Selling the club or outside investment is likely the only way without severely readjusting our aspirations and ambitions for a long long time which would make little sense to the owners except for not being willing to let the club go (understandable).

It all seems very odd - financial trouble to that extent doesn't happen overnight, yet we have pressed ahead with the ground expansion, etc in recent months. What about OHL? What's the situation been there this transfer window?

Genuine? If so King Power must be in serious trouble.

KP could use the planning ticket for the expansion as a sales chip.

You'd think if it was actually going to happen, we'd hear it from a more genuine link in the press linked with commercial /tourism industry (its not just Leicester that are associated with KP) as opposed to a random on the Internet.

If we are looking to sell the club it would definitely explains the halt in investment… the ground rebuilt pause and no investment in players.. it would make even more sense if there was someone looking at the numbers to buy on. Once a price is agreed, investing money into new players could change  the balance of investment

It's becoming the most plausible reason for everything grinding to a halt this summer.

A club legend and employee was pissed in the Woodies in Rothley saying we’re up for sale over the weekend.

The legend and employee is the same person not two as it may sound.

Trying to make it easy to work out who without name dropping.
