Working today with foxes talk open for the entire shift 👍. Big questions will Youri still be here by the end of this. Will Praet be gone? Perez? Incoming winger on loan, be surprised if we have any more in. Aside from the new CB who is prob done already.

22.50: Rudkin's pen runs out of ink as Wout Faes tries to sign his forms. Only one available is the Inspector Gadget invisible ink pen that Susan Whelan got in last year's Secret Santa.  Someone gives him Brendan's pencil and pad to seemingly save the day. 

 

Faes decides it's a farce too far and snaps the pencil. Luckily, at that moment, Molla Wague draws up outside in Kante's ex mini and is announced as the new CB and vice captain. 

 

22:55: Boga is asked to change into some training kit for photo opportunity but gets stuck in the bog as the lock breaks. Rudkin looks for Ghezzal and Musa's numbers in his filo fax. 

 

22:59 Power cut causes Fax machine to fail

 

23:01: Power returns, the Fax whirrs into action and we sign Adrien Silva as his 2017 form comes through.

Probably the most frustrating transfer deadline day ever in front of us, even more so that the ones when we signed 0 players.

I'm fairly sure Tielemans will go.  If that happens I'd like to see Praet stay but I expect Praet will go this morning and Arsenal will then come in for Tielemans this afternoon and we won't sign anyone to play CM.

 

Looking forward to Faes arriving.  Would like to see possibly another CB, especially if Cags goes, and a RW.

 

Going to be weird having the clock run down on a match day.

Crazy we play on the same day. Tielemans might be another teams player at half time.. do we have to sub him off 😂

One thing for sure is that today we will probably know if we’re getting relegated or not.

It’s never boring being a Leicester fan! An underwhelming day beckons. A relegation tussle. A Great Escape 2. Win the league next season?!

Whatever happens, heads should roll after this. Assuming we don't pull off a minor miracle, it's another window in which we haven't added a quality right winger. There were deals to be done too, even if with lack of finances, there were still good RWs going out on loan and we've (likely) ****ed it up again.

The fact that Faes came out of the blue, and has still not been announced, along with pretty much zero concrete links to players doesn't fill me with hope. 

 

Faes will come in maybe, Praet to Torino and that'll be it.
