Managed to shut my sons school annoyingly #snowflakes

I remember back when our kids were at school, we listened to RL broadcasting the list of schools that were closed, hoping that theirs wasn't mentioned. lol

Im in Hinckley and it's chucking it down with snow here.

Got more than I expected given the ever reliable LM suggested it would be the Eastern side of the county that would be hit worst.

We went to Costco Thurmaston today and no snow seemed to have fallen on that side of town

I'm finding these weather warnings, approximately 100% of the time, are over-egged and it turns out to be never as bad as predicted.

But isn't it a no win situation? You underplay it or don't go big when you think something might happen, it DOES end up happening and then people whine that they didn't get warned.

Maybe we should be pleased that we were warned it might be bad, but it turned out not to be 100% of the time.

Michael Fish has a lot to answer for.

A fox just had a wander around our garden in the snow, quite the charming winter scene.

Usually it's rats we see so definitely an improvement on that

Great omen for tomorrow.

Those Cheltenham bastards won’t know what’s hit um

Me seeing a fox actually has been a pretty good omen for a positive City result previously.

It certainly is more reliable than me trying to force the issue by touching the football on the sport statue in town whenever I went in. That was bullshit, pointless even, as it turned out

Yeah the snow is quite bad around NWL.

Walked from Thringstone to Coalville to save any possible car drama.

Yes and it's going to be -3 overnight so it won't be going anytime soon.

I can remember playing football during morning break at school when there was about a foot of snow on the ground.

We all turned up for French lessons soaking wet and shivering lol

It's currently 13 degrees here :)

4pm, work done went outside and did a quick rineseless soap  spray on both cars and then hosed off and put both in garage. It was 12 at that point but the wind was like 80km/hrs and I was freezing my moobs off. Good enough to get some light winter salt off.  Might do the actual rinseless wash in the garage tomorrow. Going to be cold with light snow and rain mix tomorrow late afternoon.

Joking aside so has mine.

I've seen a few foxes the mornings of games and we've always won

As you can tell I've not seen one for a while

The incessant rain and grey skies is becoming quite tedious now.

Nothing we can do, but it's starting to get me down.

It looks like a wet weekend but a broadly pleasant week after that!!!!
