Leicester City are looking to sign Lens and Belgium forward Lois Openda, 22, after his bright start to the season. (MediaFoot - in French)

At 22, Loïs Openda is a bright hope for Belgian football. And after having caused a sensation in the Netherlands, under the colors of Vitesse Arnhem, it is now in Lens that the striker is having fun. But his career could experience a real boost with this successful arrival in Ligue 1. Indeed, according to our sources, an English club is already interested in Loïs Openda. This is Leicester, very attentive to the French market. Openda meets all the criteria sought by the Foxes. Speed, power and efficiency: the Belgian clearly has the profile to seduce Leicester. If it is still too early to talk about a transfer or a well-integrated file, this interest will be closely monitored in the months to come.

We barely give Daka who was a proven goal machine abroad a chance and run of games to shine so what is the point in this.

Would seem like a drop in the ocean considering the problems being experienced in defence.

Vardy won’t last for ever.

"Looking to" usually means its nonsense.

That we’ll have a new, better manager?

Being linked to a striker from Lens and also their Manager in the last 24 hours 👀

...like this one!!!

He finishes well, not like a ball in behind merchant , a different approach to the striker's role. He has certainly got pace, controls his finishes well, and looks like he runs into a few dead ends as well, just wish he wouldn't keep going down as if someone had taken a baseball bat to his kneecaps.

Anyone wanting to see how he plays, he's just come on for Belgium against Wales.

How did he do. ?

You could argue he's not what we need, But I'm all for buying players who we can make a profit on even if we just sell them on.

That's where the money is.

Ran around a lot. Had a few touches of the ball.

By the time he came on, Hazard and Carrasco came off. They were both quite creative. Belgium took their foot off, so he was just chasing around a lot and Belgium were much less creative. They still had KDB and Youri on, but the pace of the game changed so there wasn't much for him to do in the box.
