On mass, it’s the only way the message will get through to the board. Regardless of the result it’s time to take matters into our own hands, for the good of this club. The lads will get our support, but we need to display that Brendan has lost our support. Deffo think more banners for the Leeds game. Also maybe ‘Rodgers Out’ chants throughout the game perhaps? I only heard that kind of chant at the end of yesterdays game.
Popular Post BenTheFox Posted 16 October 2022 Popular Post Posted 16 October 2022 The 'vote with your feet' approach in my opinion is not as effective as showing your distaste via chanting and banners. Unless the stadium is almost empty, a few thousand empty seats just gives the impression of apathy rather than anger or disgust. 16 1
Matt Posted 16 October 2022 Posted 16 October 2022 If there genuinely are Rodgers Out banners, chanting, on mass I’ll be quite jealous I’m missing out. I know our fans largely havn’t got it in them though so simply not turning up is my action. 1

It’s a bit mean to deprive others who don’t get the chance to go normally of a ticket

I believe yesterdays game made general sale if people were that desperate to go, the opportunity was there. Now if the club bought my ticket to sell that’s fair enough, but you don’t get the payment unless the seat is sold, I’ll take the hit thanks very much. 3
ozleicester Posted 16 October 2022 Posted 16 October 2022 you mustnt protest anything in any manner that is disruptive though 1

Skid_1884 Posted 16 October 2022 Posted 16 October 2022 Considering there is a heatwave at the moment I think we should all turn up in swimwear and bombard the pitch with inflatables and beach balls, just make sure they are smaller than A4.
Ric Flair Posted 16 October 2022 Posted 16 October 2022 Go behind or throw a lead away vs Leeds and I think you'll hear a bit more dismay. Evening games always seem to cause a bit more emotion and Leeds as well often gets us revved up. That said, I think we're actually going to win 😂😂😂
foxile5 Posted 16 October 2022 Posted 16 October 2022 The only way we, as fans, will have any impact is if we turn nasty. If there was sustained and obviously toxic behaviour - genuine protest. As a fan base I believe that we simply don't have it in us. 1

I think I will have to put it down to sarcasm, it is hard to believe someone could be so unaware. 1

This is what happened yesterday, nobody "protested" because they thought we might win. If we are loosing it will be toxic, whilst we're not loosing it will be civilised.

It’s a bit mean to deprive others who don’t get the chance to go normally of a ticket think it will be easy for anyone wanting a ticket, as a non paying digital member I got this email (I also ot the same offer for the Palace game): Tickets for our home Premier League fixture against Leeds United are on sale to supporters with an LCFC.com account opted into ticketing updates, meaning you are eligible to buy!
Vestan Pance Posted 16 October 2022 Posted 16 October 2022 (edited) It appear fans are voting with their feet. Including P block (1k) there are currently about 2k tickets available for Thursday. It seems STH are returning tickets in alarming numbers. Edited 17 October 2022 by Vestan Pance 2
ozleicester Posted 17 October 2022 Posted 17 October 2022 Perhaps glue your hands to the trophy case, or throw shit over the Vichai statue until BR leaves

Why on earth would anyone even think of defacing the statue??????? I want Brendan gone. Fast. Getting behind the lads for the game

The problem you have is and it's probably hard to believe a hell of a lot of the fan base still back Rodgers and wouldnt want him sacked.

Take a look at UFS' most recent post on Facebook. Hoards of people criticising the banners at full time and advocating the "keep the faith" bollocks. 1
