A draw today is fine if we beat Palace next weekend.

...strange team Palace, start the game well, take the lead and you know they are going to relinquish their superiority and struggle to stay in the game!!!

It could be down to a safety-first mindset at 60 minutes or just running out of steam, it is not easy to judge games against these.

Its not just about being positive or negative, it's being realistic. Realistically a 4-0 win against one of the worst teams to ever play in the prem doesn't make up for losing 6 games in a row before that. The win takes a little heat off brendan but ultimately he needs to back it up with another win today and then another few wins before we play Man City. Always great to win and I'm sure the fans will get behind the team but the questions over Brendan haven't suddenly disappeared because we won 1 game.

But we've got to pay his £10m wages a season anyway and it only costs about a years wages max to sack him, so the differential is the wages for the rest of the season of the new man and coaches which baring in mind we have to start cutting wages significantly will be on less than half what Rodgers is on, so it's not finances. If anything it costs us more in the next 3 years to keep him based on the above than to sack him ASAP.

I would think it's more because we have to pay his £10m and then pay another manager a decent wage on top of that. No clue if I'm being truthful. If he doesn't go after today's performance then it's absolutely not because they think he's the right man for the job.

Its a nice, intimate stadium.  You will get to see the players really up close, and the noise is kept in really well too.

I enjoyed the visit to the stadium, staff were nice (although the lady that frisked me checked a bit too well, haha) . Enjoyed most of the match until BR f**ked things up with his substitutions.

But we won't pay a new manager even half what Brendan is on as we badly need to cut costs. So let's say we pay a new manager £4m a year, but with nearly a quarter of a season gone that's £3m. We have to pay Brendan £10m this season regardless, he's arnt about £2-2.5m already, so even if it's another full £10m that hits this financial years accounts then to change Brendan would cost £5m plus coaching staff changes of about another million or so. It's absolute peanuts in comparison to what money we blow.

Oh I agree completely. I can't see why they didn't bin him pre-Forest. I can't understand what's stopping them from pulling the trigger at this point.

Top absolutely loves him. Custodians of our football club he claimed to be and he's doing this.

I can't understand it though. It's clear it's gone absolutely rotten this season, and the warning signs were there for all of last season too. He can't be happy with this?

If today wasn't the last straw then Palace wil be. We still have it in us to make sure our feelings are known. The Notts F match showed that something is building. No hiding place.

Especially not when he said pre-season he was expecting a higher finish after investing in the medical side when injuries hampered our season last time.

I don’t buy that at all, it was just the players that performed regardless of Brendan. It was for the fans

I meant that something is building in our fan base. Feelings were running high, to say the least, last Monday and the Palace match is likely to be very unpleasant if we witness another performance like today.

This was all said before the forest game.

Sorry mate I didn’t realise that’s what you meant yeah you’re quite right. Hopefully we can have a clean slate soon.
