We’ll beat Bournemouth if we play on the front foot.

They are a poor side at this level

1-3 to City

I agree don’t forget they did get beat 9-0 by Liverpool.

Well, I have been to Bournemouth four times since we came up. We haven't won a game - you have to go back to Kevin Phillips and his zimmer frame when we got promoted for our last triumph there.

So I'm going into this with zero expectations, but I live in hope. lol

Would imagine Vardy was taken off on Monday with a view to starting on Saturday…..been a bit of a bogey ground of late, shouldn’t be difficult to get the team fired up after Monday….

But since then they've drawn 0-0 with Wolves, won 3-2 at Forest (after being 2-0 down I recall), drawn 0-0 away at Newcastle and, last week, drawn 0-0 with Brentford.

No changes from the off. Vardy can still stretch Bournemouth and bring maddison and Barnes into play. Daka and Soumare need to come in earlier though to positively impact the game on 55 and 60 mins rather than 70. No point dropping ward after his first clean sheet and seemingly a plan for set pieces where we try and get our key defenders and goalie attacking the ball.

The same team have earned the right to give it another go.

I'm not confident as I'm still very unconvinced about our team's ability to defend against even basic football. We're a better team than Bournemouth, but we won't win many if we gift teams two or three goals a game.

I want to see three or four games with a zero in the goals against column before I'm truly confident we've turned a corner. Fortunately we've got players that can score and the only worry there is Vardy isn't firing like we know he can.

Daka was very impressive vs Forest at a time when the game had started to fizzle out and we were stretching the play as much, couple that with Vardy missing a lot of chances and I'd be tempted to play Patson. That said, Vardy usually makes mincemeat of these sorts of teams and we do need him to spark in to life.
