KP stadium, korea power ?

I could see it now, they would be showing our title winning season every year back in N korea so that they could claim to have turned us into the best club like they are doing with the country.

North Korea that is then......

Can't someone send a tweet to Elon Musk? How else is he going to know the club is for sale?

I don’t think anyone wants Wayne Brown’s contract reinstated.

You would get shot for saying such things in Thailand

Will always be grateful to Vichai, Top and the current board, but now does feel the right time for a cash injection. As this season has showed, fail to invest, you will get left behind

The problem is usually that the owner of shares will want a high price for them and then you ask why an investor would then put money into the club if the current incumbent doesn’t ??

a full sale would have to be to a mega wealthy ownership who can both stump up the £500m that KP would want (min) and then have plenty left to still put into the club.

I am of the opinion that Top would not want to lose control

I’ve heard that the club has been available for a while. Covid haemorrhaged King Power’s net worth. The club has hit its ceiling without new investment. I’d be comfortable in saying there’s new owners before the end of 2023.

Never going for anything above 350m.

I certainly think it's fair to say the club/KP needs other investment, if that means selling a share or stake, so be it.

The feeling of writing the season off before it started and every day that goes by confirming that more, isn't good for anyone.

What on earth are you talking about? We have recently moved to a new £100m training ground investment, and the owners have committed to a stadium and facilities development. The Chairman has detailed the reasons and rationale behind the lack of activity in the transfer market.

That settles it then.

Given the current position, someone could try their luck at that price - I guess it depends on how much KP would want to sell a stake

Cretinsky paid a lot more for his 27% and option to buy than the accepted valuation of West Ham around £380m

if the premier league handle their rights in a savvy way then there is an awful lot more to be made once they stick it on a premier league pay as you go platform (although the fat six will have to play ball or they will take too much of the pie )

They can't inject cash to buy players due to FFP, to argue they've failed to invest is laughable. Any new investment can only be used for none football projects.

Oh yeah - the narrative …..

they could easily inflate the stadium naming rights - they effectively pay a pittance for that. There are other ways too.

Seems odd frankly considering the importance of the location to our owners. However it might explain a few things.

I read somewhere their wealth dropped several billion...  we are part of his dad's legacy but you are darn right crazy if you dont realise that his main legacy is of course the business that all this success is built off. If money gets tight, we are the first to go.

Of course but it's still peanuts Our wages are way too high so preventing us from recruiting anyway. Getting wages down is the best way to fund reinvestment in the team.

Besides aren't we being closely monitored by UEFA so any change in KP investment would be scrutinised closely,

KP have ever inflated their sponsorship of us over the years by a long way. There is plenty of leeway if they wanted

we understand the reason why at the moment

Club being sold.

Biggest load of Bo—ocks ever to be put on this forum

How many PL clubs have been sold in the last ten years - quite a few. It may not happen but it is conceivable. We are losing money and football is a business.

Yeah the value of the company dropped from about $3 billion to just over $1 billion during the pandemic. They’ve been great owners. Perhaps they want to find us who have more money and can take us forward.
