I think Harry Kane has done a lot to highlight the suppression in fairness.

If the big national FA's had a shred of integrity they'd have walked away from FIFA years ago.

 

BBC saying a captain wearing non approved armband could receive a yellow card!

I think the threat is yellow cards. They should take them, if two squads can’t field a team for a match because of suspensions to the players that will highlight the problem even more as well as highlighting the corruption and hypocrisy of fifa, it’ll be an historic moment and will make a mockery of the fifa and the tournament.

Agree, they’ve allowed fifa to become what it is. Ah didn’t realise it was just the captains. In that case share the captaincy round the teams or just the captains don’t wear them or wear one love wrist bands or something similar.

They’re part of the problem by being there! The worlds media can easily hide the meaning of a rainbow arm band. To me they are complicit by valuing $ notes over and above all the other issues.

No one love armbands will be worn apparently (now fifa have confirmed that sanctions will happen)

 

I think the only thing to do after a goal is for players to have a big kiss (think that photo from the seventies - Currie and birch)

Absolute scum bags. So all the moral posturing melts into a pile of expired mush once the threat of a yellow card, or heaven forbid, a monetary fine is hung up. If anyone genuinely believes this England team care about anything else than $$ I’d love to hear how you came to that conclusion.

I'm sorry the armband was always a form of posturing. It was embarrassing. These are the same players who love to party in Dubai. Out of choice!

Just take the yellow! Shambles. Would have been a great image plastered across papers to have seen Kane getting that yellow before a ball was even kicked. But no, meek surrender it is.
