I think I speak for the majority of the pod listeners in saying that you are far more of a priority at this time than trying to record an episode. Hope you are ok and please please do not feel under pressure, at the end of the day there are far more important things in life. Sending you love and positivity. Take care of yourself.

I'll be OK and the pod is a massive help when times are shit anyway so WE CONTINUE.

Debate on Skipp right on the money.

 

Also interesting discussion on academy. There was a time when we employed likes of Paul McGuiness you thought they were going to really focus on developing / bringing through the younger players.

The talk about the youth players was a really interesting one. It's been an issue for ages seeing way over the top criticism on here for players who break through. 

 

Recently it's more than likely deserved. But when players like Barnes got it it was a joke. 

 

I can only assume it's because we all know people in jobs who are there by luck and don't deserve to be, and there's this feeling they've got there by default. Just because we can't go out and buy a player for their position. At worst it's just some weird self loathing and belittling of Leicester as a club.

Great pod Boys 

 

The abuse of Danny Ward whilst I agree it should never get personal I also think it is more than understandable that fans are totally disgruntled that he is anywhere near the first team. I genuinely text my mate when the team sheet was announced and said guaranteed 4-0 defeat incoming just because of Ward - he is that inept it was inevitable (ok only 3-0 in the end but you get my point) 

 

Ive never forgiven him for being seen partying after we lost 4-1 to F@@est whilst defending the FA Cup and being a division above them. Just not good enough and doesn't care enough in my opinion

In response to the "what do you expect to achieve" about Danny Ward. We were 3-0 down with no way back after having to endure this man almost single handedly relegated us 2 years ago now. Yes the rest were shit but put anyone else in goal for that game and that relegation season and all of that doesn't happen. 

 

We've had enough. The reaction is as much at the board as it is Ward. It's a joke. He's actually lucky it's not happened before now. The fact he's still being picked is a disgrace and I think Sunday was the least he deserves.
