The worst thing about all of this is there’s not even a sniff of change. Be it the manager, be it transfers.

The club is accepting an absolute failure & it’s going to set us back years.

I even think they're looking at the table, seeing us still in 15th place and thinking there's no much wrong!  - they're that complacent! Looking at the next six fixtures then there should be no room for the "c" word whatsoever! Complacency gets you .... relegated!

The much maligned Albrighton was one of our better players. At least he was busy and trying to create something.

Like Vardy, I guess he must be looking back at the Halcyon days of 2016 and wondering what the Hell is going on.

No matter what anyone thinks about Albrighton, this is fvcking depressing

I love the bloke and that’s my point, we literally offered nothing else.

How do we have a manager on 10m a year who is tactically worse than Big Sam or Dyche.

Yeah the days of the reigning champions losing to a Hull team with about 7 players. You like to make out the club has been in decline since the title win, we dropped immediately after and then rebuilt and went again and did pretty well (despite the collapses)

Yeah, but his team played like they gave a shit. I'd rather be him tonight than us, Pat Sharp mullet or not.

Albrighton and (first half) Castagne were the only people on that pitch who looked like they gave even half a shit. And Castagne reverted to his usual terrified self the moment the second half kicked off and PuelRodgersball came back with a vengeance.

Imagine being Marc, with that wand of a right foot, crossing quality balls and having a shit-scared Barnes on the end of them, when a couple of seasons back you could expect to see the likes of Ulloa, Huth or even Slimani on the days he could be arsed knocking them in. It's depressing enough from the stands, but to be a player who was the only one I applauded off that pitch today, whose legs have clearly gone but who still has that one talent in his locker, knowing your sole remaining game-changing talent is being wasted? I think I'd just tell Rodgers to f*** off and hand in a transfer request to gamble the last couple of years in a Championship squad with a target man - something Rodgers has publicly refused to consider, all while keeping him around way beyond a reasonable timeframe.

I think Vardy has had enough too, I really do. I'm expecting him to hang his boots up or bugger off to the US at the end of this season, and it's so depressing that it's come to this with our all-time great. You get the occasional flash from him, but the glaring misses, drifting out wide to be involved and sitting deep tell me that he's completely resigned himself to never being able to rely on attacking support or intelligent balls that consider his lost yards of pace ever again.

I'm still shaking in disbelief when big Dan just let the ball bounce near the penalty spot , instead of heading it.

Forest were poor in quality but they had loads more fight than us and had a gamelan that they executed pretty well.

As soon as they scored the 1st , we didn't look like scoring or even threatening their defence.

That is so worrying.

Come on Top , get rid and get some fresh ideas in.

Villa and Wolves have got top quality managers in and they'll easily pull away from the bottom.

We're sinking fast☹️

I said this two weeks ago and had two pages of responses about how stupid that comment was. Maybe it’s clearer now!

Great post

Completely agree with you mate

This will be Vardy’s last season I think and Marc will probably drop a division.

From the elation of the title winning season (vodka, Charlie and all) to this rubbish must be very hard for the ‘old guard’ to take.

I think the years of plenty are over, personally. Either City stay up and fight a relegation battle for the next few years, or we go down and have to start again.

Looking at how the club has been run down, neither option looks much fun tbh

I am not sure who it was, but the posters who said that opinions from match-day fans and foxestalk posters differ seem to be bang on.

Sort of echoing what people have said, but I cannot believe that people have fallen for Rodgers and his PR tricks. It’s astonishing, if you voice your opinion towards him, you are faced with a barrage of abuse.

I accept that he isn’t the only issue with us at the minute, but it’s really not the point. Do people not open their eyes, watch the game and think that this is rubbish. Honestly, how anybody can seem to think that he is the man is genuinely beyond me.

I am at a point where if I hear anybody defend Rodgers, then I automatically switch off and assume that person is a complete loser.

As I have said above, he isn’t the only issue, but he is the easiest change to make. Please sack him and clear his cronies out, I am so fed up with his football and him spouting nonsense.

It’s at a point where I am so sick of it, I actually don’t care, I have been calling for him to go for about a year now and nothing has changed. Very much at a point where I cannot be bothered anymore.

Calm down mate, they weren’t amazing

They were bang-average, and they still managed to steamroller us in the second half once we started fannying around at the back with it as usual.
We've made Morgan Gibbs White, Brennan Johnson and Jack f***ing Colback look like good footballers today. We should hang our heads in shame. :plancque:

I think I'm even angrier today than when we surrendered our FA Cup to their Championship rent-a-squad last year. This is a new low.

Someone check on @Miquel The Work Geordie, god knows what state he’s in at seeing “ugly” Steve Cooper tactically molest our handsome, precious Brendan (again).

We’ve got the worst guy in the league, bring back Pearson or let’s have a go with Dyche or Bielsa. Rodgers is an absolute tumor in LCFC.

Keep Dewsbury-Hall and **** the rest of them off.

Personally, I'll be glad when we are relegated and you all f**k off shopping on a Saturday afternoon.  I've always been in it for the long game, and what a long game it has been.  I shall die happy since the team has fulfilled two of my bucket list items which, after 1969, seemed totally out of reach.  1.  Winning the FA Cup.  2.  Winning the most competitive league in the world, (even though it wasn't massively competitive at the time, just saying).  Anybody remember that midweek game against Birmingham City when "we" went 2 nil down in the season of all seasons?  Second half "we" got one back.  Then, all the true supporters started to "sing" "The Great Escape".  Went on and on until "we" ultimately lost.  Of course,  we dropped down to the 3rd tier for a short time.  Thank God we had outstanding clubmen like Andy King to see us through the doldrums.  So, I think I have had enough of all the armchair managers who have no idea what it takes to earn money as part of a professional football club.  I am just grateful for all the fantastic memories and all those journeys on the 88 bus from Eyres Monsell, laden with expectation tempered by the reality that, more often than not, we woud not win.

Why did we end up with Lewis Brunt playing left back? lol

Brodge must've been mixed up with McAteer

Thought exactly that… or Timmy to go left and Brunt go Right back… another odd Rodge disasterclass

Because Luke Thomas was utterly hideous.

To be fair to Luke, the confidence is utterly rock bottom. When experienced pros are that bad, it must be hard for him.

But I could have done a better job at left back today.

I can only break in to a light jog at the best of times, in between cigarettes.

I'm a natural finisher, so still better than Daka.
