Not saying I like the goal music, but I wonder how many of the people in here who are moaning about it actually sing along with it when we do score. See more people singing along than not so it can't be that unpopular

Have you seen how silent the stadiums are in the top 6 when they score? Some gentle cheering ike it's expected.

Rather have what we do personally.

I think this is another topic that Foxestalker's are out of step with the general fanbase (such as clappers and Rodgers out). Most either like it or don't have a problem with it. I personally dislike it and would've strangled it at birth but each to their own, I suppose.

I deliberately clap out of time in protest.

Don't see anything wrong with goal music or the clappers.

Been going down since late 60scand have

Seen some good and bad atmospheres.

Good atmosphere is generated by what's going on in the game. Goal music adds to the celebration.

We also blast it out so loud. When Tielemans banged it in at Wembley, I didn't actually realise there was goal music at the time until I watched the highlights back at home! And even then I vaguely made it out

Maybe it was the cheers or euphoria of the moment but it certainly feels excessive at the KP and for too long. Fire was also shorter

Agreed, if we absolutely must have it. It comes in too quick, is too loud and lasts too long.

Imo it's about controlling the celebration, not attempting to improve it.

I personally don't pay any attention to the goal music anymore. I'm not sure I'd be able to say whether or not it was playing. I'm too caught up in the moment.

Over the last 18 months the club have been putting quite a lot of effort in to improve an atmosphere that we all recognise can be pretty inert at times - yes, the goal music, 'When your smiling,' the flags that people keep nicking, no more clappers, singing section, etc. It might be vanilla/family-friendly stuff and it a bit over-policed at times, but it shows they care about the atmosphere. I can't really fathom moaning about the goal music if you care about the atmosphere at KP - people join in and that's what we want.

The real issue is that we need a song for James Maddison, stat!

If we need music to celebrate a goal we are truly broken as a fanbase.

Thing is we actually don’t though and managed to go over a year without it before lockdown

Also with the disallowed goal and FT we heard it six times on Saturday.

Imagine being 4-0 down and blasting 3 Kungs when we score a consolation in stoppage time
