Maybe point the finger at Faes for allowing the opportunity to be created... I'm sorry but Ward can't be defended It's not that he doesn't save EVERYTHING it's that he might aswell not be there and makes is wayyyyy too easy for the attacker. The angles he creates and his slow reactions are all on him. 2

Samilktray Posted 19 February 2023 Posted 19 February 2023 Another week where Ward gives us another bit of goalkeeping to have a laugh at
foxfanazer Posted 19 February 2023 Posted 19 February 2023 This is so gutting! We deserve so much more

Close Rashford down, like Ederson would. Back track but narrow the angle. Ward choose option three, which was marking his near post, leaving a gaping hole at the far post for Rashford to aim at. Cheers Kasper. Edited 19 February 2023 by adejo92 2

He literally stepped to the side and left entire left side of the goal open to Rashford, then made little attempt to save it, fell over backwards and put a foot out😅 2 1

EastAnglianFox Posted 19 February 2023 Posted 19 February 2023 If Ward is a step to his right people would be slating him for leaving the near post wide open 3
Muzzy_no7 Posted 19 February 2023 Posted 19 February 2023 Weghorst going through Kelechi to win the ball. 1
Fazzer 7 Posted 19 February 2023 Posted 19 February 2023 We look a different side now. I feel we're gonna get something out of this game. De gea stands between us being in front. 1
beepee1984 Posted 19 February 2023 Posted 19 February 2023 Faes should have followed Dalot there, got away with it 1
filbertway Posted 19 February 2023 Posted 19 February 2023 For a team that so frequently scores put of absolutely nothing. Were ballsing up so many good positions. Its like everyone falls asleep once we touch the ball in their 3rd
The Doctor Posted 19 February 2023 Posted 19 February 2023 people seriously blaming ward for that? his positioning is fine, not much he can do there. Blame is entirely on Faes giving it away 1

The problem is he's not moving out to close down rashford, if he's half a metre closer he covers the goal much better.
dmayne7 Posted 19 February 2023 Posted 19 February 2023 Imagine having a manager who could organise a team defensively. Embarrassing.
