Interesting how people tried to write him off so early when the signs were inconclusive and if you had to one way; somewhat positive.

His distribution was fine tonight too. He’s a better shot stopper than Schmeichel was in his last two seasons here. Kasoer was particularly bad with low shots across the goal, Iversen’s extra height and athleticism has made the difference

No ur wrong actually ward ain't that bad in Roger we trust !!!?

If we stay up he deserves a statue of him with his foot out-stretched next to Vardy's

Not exaggerating

Iverson and Soyunchu rotting on the bench. Vardy looked finish. Now look at them. The 3  plus Soumare are giving us hope. All of them treated awful by the elite one

His kicking isn't what worries me, I'm sure that can be coached and fine tuned. It's his dithering and indecisiveness that worries me - he just looks like he's about to bowl it out to the opponent at any moment.

His shot stopping is up there with the best in the league.

Goalkeeper distribution is the priority when you're a team that will dominate the bulk of your games. But we aren't that side. He's fine - I wouldn't even bother with a new keeper unless it's to replace Ward as second choice or if we have somebody brilliant lined up.

Not playing him for two thirds of the season. Brendan Rodgers really is an absolute disgrace.

Yeh it boggles the mind how this guy was left out in the cold. Even the average person on the street could guess who is the better keeper ffs. I mean cmon we all saw it in Iverson's cup display's but Rogers knew best and so we had to shut up and put up. I question our GK coach too as he's the guy who should be putting his neck and his reputation on the line screaming at rogers to replace ward with Iverson. Why didn't he speak up or did he and was ignored? I guess we will never know. Iverson is a shot stopping beast! Kasper was on the commentary panel today and I'm sure he saw some of himself in Iverson. He was bummed we lost. Kasper's heart is still in Leicester.

It's impossible to come to any other conclusion than Rodgers wanted the pay-off.

I agree that the ‘sabotage’ argument (ridiculous though it might sound - especially for him to actually get away with it) is gaining traction with every passing game.

But there is one other (more realistic) conclusion to be drawn:

Rodgers was just an awful manager who had lost his way to such an extent that virtually every big decision he made was the wrong one.

Weird when you get a player back from loan some fans aren’t interested in how the player has done away from the club.

For a goalkeeper there’s not that much difference playing for a championship side and in PL when it comes to shot stopping. Iversen was player of the year at Preston and the fans were singing his praises. Hard to see why he shouldn’t be able to compete here as well with all those world class saves he pulled off last season.

And he’s 25, of course he needs time to settle, but it’s remarkable how calm he seems after being thrown in in the middle of a relegation fight.

Pick any 10 game run this season and I’d guarantee you we’d have earned at least 3-5 points more than we did with coco the clown flapping his arms around. That’s 10-15 points gained and safety, that’s before we discuss Soyuncu over Amartey. To think he’s been there at the training ground week in week out available, you’d have thought he was going to be like a Deer in the headlights the way Rodgers (mis)treated him. Disgraceful stubbornness in selection, it’s like we’ve had Les Dawson on Piano whilst Elton John was sat in the wings waiting for a go.

eh, for him to be an awful manager we'd have to ignore the first 18 months here. I think it's neither, it's that he threw a strop over not even being in the running for Man Utd when OGS left and as a result stopped trying here
