I do not want to see these 3 players ever in a Leicester shirt again. Please leave our club. Not on loan, just put in your transfer request and go. And kindly request your boss to do the same. I'm tempted to boycott games if any of these 3 start. (probably won't but tempted)

Your targeting the wrong people, yes they are not good enough to be first choice players. However they are not awful players all three have had periods at leicester or in their career where they have shown they are decent players. The problem is they can't play the way they are being asked to and the manager refuses to adapt from his one and only plan even when it clearly isn't working.

A better manager Howe, Frank even Dyche and allerdyce would adapt how they play to the players they have got to make it work. Rodgers stubbornly sticks to his own style which only works when we have our first 11 and no injuries that can do it. Rodgers style only works when he can pay for better players than the rest of the league he is unable to adapt to the players he has or coach them to play the way he wants them to.

His insistan e with sticking with this style of play after so long of it not working is unforgivable

No no no how long can we keep blaming Rogers. Yes I believe its time for him to go. BUT professional players should be able to get the FUNDEMENTALS of their play and position right at least 80% of the time no matter what the system or tactics.

Unfair bar Soumare.

Rodgers has slagged these players off publicly for a lack of quality but then selects them. Not just that but continually enforces a style of play they are not capable of on them.

You either play them and adapt or don't play them at all.

How ironic.

Says Soumare has a lack of quality but forgets he signed him for 20million. **** off Brendan

Amartey tries but his increased level of involvement is the proof you need of how bad things have actually got. Amartey wasn't good enough to start 6 years ago.

Of course Brendan is to blame. Foootball at this level is not easy, a manager paid 10mill a year should get the best out of his players. At this level a decent manager is what makes the difference.

Multiple examples:

- Ole at Utd replaced by Ten Haag

- Rodgers at Liverpool replaced by Klopp

- Lampard at Chelsea replaced by Tuchel

- Nuno at Spurs replaced by Conte

- Bruce at Newcastle replaced by Howe

I'd add Praet and Tete to the list, they were both dogshit aswell.

Tete yes but I though Pratt was on a small list that played ok ,  I felt Praet, kdh and Ricardo looked bothered and actually showed a bit of tenacity. Pratt actually looks calm as well most off the rest were either panicking or getting bullied for about 70 minutes

This is just a nonsensical comment. Vardy has done 10 x for this club what all three of these others have. I'll leave that there.

Couldnt agree more, but that doesnt allow him a spot in the team if he's adding nothing and looking like he couldnt give a toss

Thomas is a weird one.

When first burst onto the scene, his lack of athleticism was apparent but he seemed to rarely get beaten by a winger and had an appetite for some delightful crosses/proactive passing into the final third.

He got annihilated by Pepe a couple of years ago and genuinely minus the odd performance has looked like a deer in headlights ever since.

If there is any truth in the little clique, I’d happily break this up by selling Thomas for £10/15m and taking a punt on a lower league JJ again - one who ticks the athleticism box that is required as a modern day FB.

I usually like to give myself some time before writing off players:

I’ve had plenty of time to write off Amartey. He shouldn’t be anywhere near our starting eleven. He’s approaching Vestergaard territory

Thomas - always thought he’s steady, but not spectacular. This season he’s admittedly been awful. He needs a loan to get his confidence back. I’m not quite ready to write him off yet

Soumare - it still feels too early to me to write him off (as I say I like to give players time), but can’t blame others for doing so. I’ve not seen anything from him to suggest he can contribute effectively in any midfield position

In what alternate universe does someone offer £10-15m for Thomas on current form?

I am not saying that BR shouldn't go or that players do not improve, but you cannot deny that at any of these teams, no player was performing to the level that these 3 mentioned are. They do not look like professional footballers and none of the other teams mentioned had a player at that level and then gone onto being "world beaters"

Blaming the manager for everything is easy, but the players also need to look at themselves.

Agreed - I have said in previous posts that it's time for him to hang up his boots - I don't want him to move to another club or to hand in a transfer request like the others. I want him to retire as a legend here and that's it

My issue with Soumare isn't that I do not think he could be capable of being a decent player - I have no time for lazy people - lazy in their jobs which they get paid handsomely to do so. No I am not having that in any circumstance and for that he can do one

Whilst all 3 are miles off the levels we would expect, I feel that every game they play, the Manager literally throws them under the bus with his tactics and instruction on how he wants them to play.

Amartey is one of, if not the player who is most uncomfortable in possession in the whole premier league, anyone can see this and yet every time he is selected he is still instructed to build play from the back, most teams target him, allow him to have possession and target his weaknesses as Blackburn did last night.

Thomas and Soumare look like their confidence is on the floor so why not ask them to simplify their games for a few games just build up their confidence. He doesn’t tweak his tactics to suit the profile of players available to him, instead he pick his team and they have to execute the same plan and set up regardless of personnel. I actually feel for all 3 players as i feel they are being exposed by the Manager who is hell bent on his brand and his ideology of playing controlling posession based football.

change the manager to someone more flexible in there tactical approach and I think all 3 would improve, whether that is to a level that supports our aspirations remains to be seen.

In the same that we offered £15m for Vestergaard.

Thomas played a lot of England U21 matches, English tax and even buying a non proven PL young player would warrant a sizable fee.

It wouldn’t be unheard of in the slightest.

Blackburn pissed about at the back as well but just about got away with it. Amartey, Faes and Souttar are not designed for it ( neither were Morgan and Huth) . I despair at teams persisting with this crap and time and time again playing themselves into trouble. The biggest joke was Rodgers asking Vestergard to play that way. I sometimes wish for a goalkeeper to just boot the ball high and as far as he can.

What happened in the summer?

… and how could someone offer £10-15m for Thomas “on current form”, which is awful? The summer would have seen offers based on his form last season and earlier surely?

The thing is - you can see it coming. When we caught Villa out, it was like something was wrong just before hand and you could see they were going to mess up. Same yesterday when we had a few scares before their first goal.

Noticed against Arsenal that they were well prepared with a high press every time we had a goal kick. Ward ended up playing consistently long as seeing Martinelli and Saka ready to pounce affected his bowels (and he usually just gave possession away anyway) whilst we had 2 defenders back. I don't think we were fully prepared for what to do if playing at the back wasn't possible. Not sure what these guys do in training.

The FA cup is clearly not a priority right now due to our league position and form and we need to try and keep those on the fringes and recovering from injury game time.

It does effect the league though. In the same way Blackburn fancied their chances knowing we had a shit season so far.

Even Saints might fancy their chances after seeing a fairly strong team go down so terribly to lower league opposition.

You’ve seen who Saints just lost to?

They have no reason to fancy their chances based on the cup games.

Anyone know if these guys have left yet following this request?

I heard BR rejected their transfer request. On grounds that he wants his payout and these 3 are pivotal in his plans to do this.

The ones who gave him a 10 million contract are the only ones stupid enough
