So so stale and Groundhog Day, totally expected Brendon master class with subs included. Just that disengaged from the team at the minute I just shrug and get on with my day. Last year I’d be upset all weekend if we lost.

I think I'm a stage past that, I'm upset that I'm not that upset. I've even bought Stella to drink tonight.

I was taken into hospital at 4am this morning, thankfully I was unable to attend the game. Grateful for small mercies and all that….🤦‍♂️

It occurred to me driving back down the M1 that I’m not really celebrating when we score goals any more - not because of VAR but because I just expect that they won’t count for anything come the end of the game - Brendan’s team has sapped the enthusiasm completely

Im off out to watch an evening of boxing ‘down town’. Probably a good thing before the FT playground gang spark up.

I’d say one thing first though. Get yersens a decent stream and watch the games before you post in the match thread.

Anyone suggesting that Souttar had had ‘a solid game’ today clearly hadn’t done that. Chelsea scored three, VAR chalked another two off and this was a side who, before today, had scored sod-all in 6/7 league games.

We WUZ wide open at the back. The only thing I’d add is that Big Dan was worse and Faes was worse still.

If Rodgers doesn’t sort out the defensive side of our game, we will be relegated. Of that I have no doubt.

Anyway, at fear of saying ‘I told you so’, over and out and have a decent evening.

Col sounds mad tonite, really mad. What a horrible day.

It was strange feeling watching Leicester in the last 10 minutes. The utter realisation that we were not capable of mounting a rousing comeback and the palpable apathy and resignation in the crowd. Even the Rodgers out chants were half hearted, just like our team, half hearted. I felt the same, not knowing whether to scream my lungs off or quietly accept our fate. I was quiet but now the anger is building. I am so fcuking angry now but not towards our apathetic support but to the deafening silence and defeatism that has infected the leadership and ownership at our club. Top is not his Dad, he never could be. His lasting legacy may be that he is taking us into the Championship with that fraud of a manager. May be we deserve it. So angry.

Going forward we looked threatening and actually forced a goalkeeper and defence to make saves and get blocks in.

That keeper and defence generally means the attack needs miracles. They can't do it.

Good to hear the crowd call for the manager to go.

The place felt flat from walking in today. I can’t blame anyone because that’s exactly how I feel going at the moment. There’s no energy about this team even when we’re having a go. Ward made some good saves second half, but cannot excuse the goalkeeping for the first and second. Any enthusiasm has drained from the squad and the fans. Our defending is shambolic. Faes looks a different player to pre World Cup. We leave ourselves exposed time and again. I feel relieved that I can’t go to another game until Bournemouth! We are sleepwalking to relegation and there doesn’t seem any concern about it from the club. It’s completely stale. Rodgers has done his time. It’s gone stale and I don’t trust him with putting this team back together

Did Chilwell celebrated his goal?

The usual aggressive ear cupping bollox right over on the touchline in front of the West Stand Flask Mob. Dangerous thing to do.

The abuse definitely got to him. He's been crying since Wembley. Classless twat.

At this stage of the season, you want momentum, fight and the crowd behind you - we lack all three - we’re going down

Some managers understand that managing the crowd is as much a part of their job as managing the team. Some managers don’t.

Probably, that was a gilt edge chance. But even if that goal is scored, that makes it 2-2. We concede way too many goals. First two today were really bad ones, first one is not being switched on after clearing an initial corner and the second one is poor game management and bad keeping. TBH even the third one was preventable, but they got in behind so many times, that sooner or later one was going to go in.

Our games against teams around us will define if we stay up or not. That last game against West Ham has relegation decider for both teams written all over it.

I think most of us would be very happy to be going into the last game still with a chance of survival. At the moment it looks like we'll be down well before then.

All of our coaches hugging Chilwell and Fofana at the end, just what you want to see after watching that.

They don't appear to give a toss about the fans or club. Its all about there own well being and ego. The comments that Rogers made about Fofana after the game made me feel sick.
