Jesse Marsch won't take an interim post at Southampton so he won't take one here.

He wanted the saints job if they got relegated.

I think as an interim, he's got merit. And it's possible he has merit in leading us in the championship, should the worst happen.

I don't know his game or his CV. But his vibe is exactly right.

As much as it would be absolute parody to appoint him, he'd probably keep us up

To be fair a trained Camel could win the title with Celtic - THE most lame and boring league in the world

People give BR to much credit for his achievements at Celtic.

Joke league with top fans

Thing is most managers aren't taking an interim post because once you get a reputation for it, your long term chances dry up, so we're likely looking at a small pool of seasoned managers who don't give a **** anymore.

To keep us up we just need someone who will put the right players on the pitch at the right times and just go back to basics

Might not have been you that said it but as for the "he'll demand and get instant respect", you'd like to think any manager walking in to the club would do so. How good is his English too (to a lesser extent)? Is he *that* well connected to the club/country to want to take on such a roll? Dunno it just seems to me to be too erratic

I’m not saying it’s going to or should happen, just that it’s not as desperate of a shout as it might seem.

Seen some itk’s on here/Twitter link is to Gerrard.

Nope. Our club appear to be run by idiots but not utter muppets.

What makes you think we are after an interim manager?

If you’re watching Top.

DO NOT APPOINT GERRARD.

Gerrard will be off the moment Klopp is sacked. Not that I think he's good enough to be here anyway

No way will Liverpool hire Gerrard, unless you mean as a short term interim or something?

Weird how it’s all played out, we must have known something about Potter.

Ole to United. Lampard to Chelsea. Arteta to Arsenal. It can happen

Give it Zidane for 10 games. I bet the bollockings he can give are worth the money a lot. Million quid per win, £500k a draw. Throw in a free pass to the space centre.

But contractually he must cycle there
