Nathan Shelley might be worth a go? Would certainly ruffle a few feathers and looks tactically astute from what I’ve seen

To be fair, I think it is a Ted Lasso type character that we need in the short term. Someone who can get the players enjoying things again, and just some belief. We’ve got the quality, they just need the spark.

Then get Nate the Great in for the start of next season.

Alot of if's here but if we can get a win tomorrow, then manage to beat Bournemouth at the weekend i'm happy to let Sadler and Stowell continue till the end of the season - Lot's of if's like I say and if we don't time is ticking and we're rather screwed, that's the situation we've found ourselves in dilly dallying not removing Rodgers sooner though.

Ultimately as I said yesterday, we were going down with Rodgers, atleast now we're going to go down trying and I definitely feel more confident we have better chance of staying up without him.

Then, I think we look to Potter in the summer - which was always going to be the case, I have my concerns about Potter, being that he might be too similar to Rodgers (Although I never got that feeling when I caught Brighton games) but he is a builder and admire he built Brighton into what they are now or some of the listed foreign managers that have been mentioned (Martinez, Sampaoli/Cambiasso, Favre, Enrique, Hutter, AVB, all out of work, Haise, Tomasson, Hjulmand, Slot all in work but obtainable, I'd love Amorim but that is never going to happen - destined for bigger things, not to mention his release clause.)

If Potter won't come here then we'll have to put up with Benitez.

I think Potter will see us as a hiding to nothing atm.

If he takes the job and we go down his reputation is further diminished even if he has a get out clause.

Wiser to wait and see from his perspective.

I liked him at Brighton and the poison chalice of Chelsea hasn't affected my opinion.

Hope we can get him in the summer.

I’d rather eat my own limbs and then eat the shit and vomit that followed.

Is that a no then?

They're the only two who are decent currently out of work.  Name a third that would realistically come here...

Name any other what at the level of benitez now?

he wants a break but will sign in the summer.

it’s all about wether we can get an interim in or wether we can get someone of the same caliber who would take it on now.

If we play a waiting game on Potter I see no point in getting anyone in until the end of the season.

If Stowell can get us 6 points out of the next two games then this becomes a realistic option imo.

The timing on this is poor.  We should've binned Rodgers before the last break.

Souttar and Kristiansen are good starts to be fair...

Brighton were set up to succeed regardless of manager. Their backroom team are amazing and Potter was just a cog in that machine. When de Zerbi goes, somebody will slot right in.

I'm not sure Potter is all he's made out to be, certainly not the Brendan Rodgers tonic that I think the club and fans need right about now.

I’m not sold on Potter, but with him seemingly out of the frame let’s all go down the tapas and order a San Miguel. It’s Rafa time!

I do believe he’s what we need in the short term. I think he’d organise us and keep us up. And fits logically in many other ways as well.

If this happens I'm genuinely throwing away my season ticket and spending my Saturday afternoons at Anstey Nomads.
