I'm no expert but is the whole point of the Red Bull model not that it succeeds largely because they've got a fantastic scouting/analysis network and a clear, consistent philosophy that comes down from the very top? If you put Jon Rudkin in charge of their football operation the whole company would probably go bankrupt within the first six months.

This was against a terrible Villa side as well. We've got much better teams to play who'll put us to the sword if we're anything like today
