How it's now turning out we haven't got anyone lined up is absolute criminal. We had ample opportunity to do this at the start of the international break or even World Cup. We choose to do it going into the two most winnable matches without any plan to replace him relying on two inexperienced coaches.

It beggars belief this club, it really does.

Totally agree,  the club is being ran appallingly. I knew when Rodgers went they wouldn’t have any idea of a replacement.

Reports Forest are lining up Vieira before sacking Cooper. Almost like every other club actual have a plan before they do this kind of thing

Forest would be so foolish to do that no way veira is better than cooper. I'm not convinced that would go down well with Forest fans.

Agreed, but I live in Nottingham and it's surprising how many are turning on Cooper because of his decisions. He definitely deserves chance to get them back up even if they did go down. But their owners a nutjob

We need someone who can come in and keep us up. The problem is, I don't think many will just come in until the end of the season, and we will want someone very good like Emery to oversee the summer rebuild. So we're stuck.

And who's fault is that Top and the board.

Took to long changing things.

Sky reporting things because club source do update them. Rob Dorset is closer to the club.

Hearing the club has contacted Big Sam to see if he is interested. Ex Saudi Arabia coach has send his cv to the club. Top wants interim appointment soon. His heart not in it for the long term sadly.

Its now all about saving money 💰 here.

They weren't even in the technical area for the first 10 mins. It's as if they had either forgot or were doing it out of respect for Rodgers. Both utterly ridiculous reasons.

Another reason to sack them. Not sure what it is they do.

If it was all about saving money, they’d have kept Brendan for the ten games. If this is real, it’s more about lack of ideas.

Herve Renard would be very left field. Absolutely crazy.

This board are totally inept. The lot of them need to **** off regardless of if we fluke survival or not.

I think we have to go for Benitez. He's been in this situation before and he stayed with Newcastle when they got relegated.

He demands control of a club. And given the clown show currently making decisions that will be a good thing.

But I never thought I'd be in the position of saying I want him here. Sad, but got to face reality now.

I think I'm here as well. Yikes.

Was speaking to a Newcastle fan about him and one thing that caught me a bit was him saying Benitez is a decent builder. If that's the case I think I'd probably take it because I've no faith in any of these clowns to do it properly.

Can people REALLY see ANY Manager wanting this gig as we stand?

Really?

I actually wouldn’t have a major issue with Hassenhutl on a short term deal to the end of the season, yes he had an horrendous time of it at the end of his tenure at Southampton and will always be remembered for the two 9-0

drubbings but he also had some success as well, and much like Rodgers I actually feel he is a manager who comes in and has a decent impact for first 12 - 18 months, so on a short term contract, could be just the manager to get us 12 points from 9 games and keep us up.

I'm just going to throw this out there: there is about a quarter of the season left, and we are 2 points from safety.

As much as I agree there's still plenty of time left, what is it about the last quarter of the season that gives you hope that we're going to turn it around?

Time left but we are dropping like a stone, confidence has all but drained away now and many players not even making 6/10 in games.

Needs immediate lift from a new gaffer but even then it may be too late to save us.

Just get Benitez or Hutter in now. Both would fancy the Championship next season I feel.

We have fell too far for Potter/Poch now.

Has to be someone like Big Sam.

Can’t believe I’m saying that, but it needs someone with a big set of bollocks to tell these players how it is.

If we HAVE to go interim and if we HAVE to go old school, just to get some fight and organisation into this team, I’d sooner go with someone like Dean Smith.

Allardyce is a relic. He looked lost at West Brom and couldn’t stop them going down.
