I wouldn't normally believe that Rudkin would go but everything seems to be pointing towards a reshuffle. It just seems too convenient that in the space of a few days both us and Leuven have sacked the managers, Top has made himself solely responsible on Companies House and now there are reports that he's taking control of recruitment of the manager and players. Even if he isn't officially sacked, this can only be a positive thing as the less input Rudkin has the better off we'll be.

The companies house stuff is tidying up, the PSC registers are often not kept up to date and Top became the PSC (I.e 75% shareholding) in 2019.  No significance its just a late filing.

The other stuff potentially sounds more significant, if it's true.  What a red letter week if Rudkin is kicked upstairs.

Rudkin would have got rid of Rodgers a long time ago if it was down to him.

Easy scapegoat and im sure hes made wrong decisions along rhe way in his role but 1 person is much more to blame for Rodgers continued employment.

You know in the normal world, where your boss annoys you and you find a new job…. Yeah that.

Or in the normal world where you have ambitions and don’t stay in one place…. Yeah that too.

The bloke couldn’t care less, knows he has a comfy job, and knows no one else in the premier league will employ him.

Like a lot of our senior leadership…

First team, PL2 and women's sides all in the relegation zone.

Any accountability at all? The guy is totally out of his depth.

The guy is so out of his depth we won the PL and FA Cup, top 5 twice but oh no he's a failure. FFS you have a vacuum to fill

Funny that Ranieri and Rodgers were sacked then really.

"It is claimed the Midlands outfit paid almost £90m when they sacked Brendan Rogers two years ago"

What the floppin deck ???! That cannot be right, surely. Relegation was less costly than that!!

Just poorly worded, they are quoting the athletic

They will also have been aware of the financial implications of the decision to make this change. When Rodgers, who was the highest-paid manager in the club’s history, was eventually sacked with two years left on his contract, the total cost of his severance and that of his staff contributed to losses of £89.7million.

So Percy being very much back in the know can’t just be a coincidence?

Been given two big exclusives in an evening.

Let’s hope there’s a 3rd ;)

Ah. So that the severance pays, relegation etc all amounted to roughly 90m. That's a bit easier to stomach.

Terribly worded in the article!!
