I just don't get how. They got him for less than he was worth anyway so why we'd need to reimburse them I've no idea.

I was thinking they can’t afford the Maddison payments due to PSR restrictions. 
 

They owe us £25,000,000 still, so we get Skipp instead. 

 

Not sure how this fits in with the dodgy bank loads and actually cash changing hands, or rights of offset though.

I hate Rudkin as much as the next man but it’s still early. Plus we don’t know what needs to be done to bring anyone in. Do we have money to spend? Do we need to shift players to bring new in?

 

It’s still very early in the window plus the January window is usually horrendous one. Let’s see how it pans out. But if we don’t invest in new players then we’re fvcked.

Winks definitely was, the deals were a few days apart. That one worked out for the championship but Spurs basically got Maddison for free seeing as they wanted to shift Winks and Skipp..

A frustrating window again with what is going on is just unacceptable. It’s getting beyond a joke and we still have large groups determine this period of ownership a “blip”. It’s very much pisstake stage of the Top/Rudkin era. They know that apart from a few disgruntled chants, nothing is going to happen.

Some of you have got to stop caring so much. It's not good for you. 

 

When you realise that the club is a steaming pile of turd on the pitch and off the pitch, life gets a bit better. That's what I've done. 

 

It's a sad state of affairs when you become so disillusioned with the club that you don't bother listening/watching the game like I did yesterday. Rudkin, Top et al all to blame for this.

Read the room FFS, we are in a mess and genuine relegation battle, we need to be wheeling and dealing and desperately needed to hit the ground running in this transfer window from the off, if our DoF is away topping up his tan then it just confirms the club is an absolute joke and we are done whilst these chancers continue to take the piss.
