The team that will win this will be the one that is the most tenacious and confident , motivated by a clear game plan demonstrating team work and bravery.

We're fooked then

Looking at your predictions, it's over already!

Can you see where the points are coming from the situation we are in?

Beating Liverpool,Newcastle at home?

Man city  or Fulham away?

FIGHTING to get a win against Everton,Leeds,West Ham???

Wheres the fighters in our team?

Who's going to roll up their sleeves for us to stay up??

Was fired up for the Villa game but feel really flat today.  Suppose the Marsch rumours aren't helping!  Those last minute goals really knock the stuffing out of you as well. Maybe i will perk up before the game but im pretty fearful about this one today. Would be nice to actually see us win for a change. Spent a lot of money watching us lose this season!

Feel the same. My boys and I are season ticket holders and make a 230 mile round trip for home games. With the odd games we've had to miss, one of my sons and I have seen us win twice, whilst the other son has seen 1 win all season!! After travelling over 2500 miles!!

We don't have any fighters - KDH but he's been crap all season

The only thing that gives me hope is the quality of our last 2 goals..rici against palace and Barnes against villa...or was it the other way round..

There's still quality there but as other posters have rightly pointed out..is there character , resilience and some god  darned fight

I'm so stressed on my sunbed here in Gran Canaria. It's horrible.

To be honest, I've accepted our fate. If we stay up, it'll be a pleasant surprise. I stand by what I said in the Relegation thread over a month ago, I genuinely think we'll finish bottom of the pile. We're a rabble and I don't believe another miracle is going to happen. The 2015 team had guts and determination - qualities this team lack.

.

Sorry for the negativity - as you were

Why are all Foxestalk rumours so crap? Was Ward being back in last week and now it's shitty line ups.

Can we have a positive rumour like the Birch is getting his own Pukka Pie or Filbert the Fox is going to identify as non binary?

Or something even more ridiculous like Birch to come out dressed as Winston Churchill to give a rousing speech… oh hang on

I mean, he’s been pretty poor, ridiculously slow and looks like a Championship player and not improved our defence whatsoever. I’m no fan of Amartey still, but our defence hasn’t looked any better with Souttar in compared to Amartey and he’s looked no better than Amartey, he just still has the new player novelty to him that Amartey doesn’t and people always overrate new players for their first few months while they’re still a novelty. I’d much rather drop him for Soyuncu given the chance, but Souttar to Amartey feels like a very sideways swap.

This is the worst take I’ve seen on here this week and that’s saying something considering that next manager thread exists.

This is what I've heard too

Don't make much difference who we play, besides Barnes and Madders, they're all ****ing shite and the legend that was Vardy is past it.

I said a couple of weeks ago when people were clamouring for calm with 11 games remaining that if we didn't get results against Palace or Villa we'd be needing 4 wins from the remaining nine containing fixtures against Man City, Liverpool and Newcastle.  Those 4 wins are effectively 4 possible wins out of 6 winnable games when you take those sides out of the reckoning.

The opportunities are running out but here we are.  When the team below you in the table have amassed a quarter of their points total playing ourselves twice after a run of 29 games, there isn't much hope is there?

Surely just pick the best 11 players currently (have we got 11??) & fit them in the system.

We have picked the system last 2 games & it didn’t work

Iversen, Kristiansen, riccy, Souttar & Faes, Praet, Mendy, Maddison, Barnes, Nach only can think of 10, fill the gap.

Also what about playing Barnes down the middle, his finishing has improved…..

We concede a goal almost every game that Souttar is at least partially at fault for. And our defence hasn’t improved at all since he’s come in. You really think it’s the worst take you’ve seen this week to say he’s looked like a Championship player out of his depth so far?

Some posters have taken to him because he’s new and 6ft6 and new players often get a pass for their first few months because of the novelty. He might come good in the future, but I don’t know how anyone can say it’s an awful take to say he’s been pretty crap so far. I’m no fan of Amartey but we simply haven’t looked any better defensively with Souttar in instead of Amartey. And I don’t see how swapping them makes our awful, Championship level defence particularly any weaker than it already is.

Do you genuinely think our defence has improved since Souttar has come in for Amartey? And that it’s made any difference whatsoever to how poor our defence is?
